These cute and preppy ceramic bracelets have been popular for a few years now, but with all the bracelet business happening lately on Taylor Swift’s Journey of the Eras, we’ve seen more of a resurgence in popularity lately!

Of course, friendship bracelets can be made from different types of beads and strings, but we are especially attracted to these clay beads (also known as heishi beads) because they are beautiful and convenient and daily use. (for all ages!)! Long after Taylor Swift’s concert is over, these ceramic bracelets will continue to rule your wardrobe!

Today I’m going to walk you through the step-by-step process of creating these clay bracelets and share patterns for five different clay bracelet ideas that you’ll want to make ASAP!

These clay bracelets don’t require a lot of supplies and don’t take long to make, so you’ll definitely end up wanting to make a bunch – it’s so much fun and no one can resist a wrist full of ” Hand candy. ” !”

To make quick work of measuring, I like to add a piece of washi tape to my 7 inch long table, which is how long I will make all my beads. Just add the wire about 1.5 inches from each end of the washi tape, then cut it.

Grab the end of the rope and pull to stretch it. Presenting the rope will allow you to tie the knot at the end!

Add a small piece of washi tape to the end of the elastic band and fold the tape over itself. This will create a barrier to keep your beads from sliding off the end of the wire.

Also, you can use this washi tape measure to measure length easily at a glance!

My favorite way to tie clay bracelets is with a surgeon’s knot. It’s pretty easy to make and holds up better than a regular square knot.

Follow the video above: make a half knot, then another half knot (don’t pull the second half knot yet!). Go through each tail once, then pull firmly.

This set of pre-made ceramic bread bracelets consists of five different patterns, all made in the same basic palette. I used white clay beads with 10 different colors of sunset colors, including light and dark shades of blue, pink, coral and yellow gold, as well as gold sky beads and gold hearts. .

The first bracelet here is the easiest to make because it doesn’t require much thought! The thing about this bracelet is that the colors and patterns of the beads are completely random, so it’s easy!

In a small bowl, combine about 100 white clay beads and 5-10 each different sunset color (about 40-50 beads in total). You want the mixture to be about 2/3 white and 1/3 color.

The most common bracelet length for women is 7 inches long, however, the ideal range is 6 to 8.5 inches. For best results, use a soft tape measure to measure your wrist, then add 1/4 inch to the length.

To make a 7 inch bracelet, you’ll need about 100-140 clay beads per bracelet, depending on the thickness of each clay stone (you’ll notice some are thicker than others). If you are measuring the number of beads, you will need about 5 grams of clay beads per bracelet.

We recommend using natural rubber cord that is between 0.4mm and 1mm thick. Stretch Magic is a popular type of decorative string that we use frequently.
