Be sure to read my entire post to see all the swatches and listings. Ok, come on! Let’s get a stamp.

Elegant Homemade Christmas Cards

My first Christmas idea is a fun card. This simple gatefold card is easy to make, even though you created part of it during the card making. (You can see a review of my mistakes in the Facebook group!)

I love how easy it is to use the Christmas stamps! Just put different parts with different colors of ink and in minutes you can have a beautiful spray of branches and fruits!

Red Cake, True Red, and Black combine this card with black and white gingham and checked paper to give this Christmas card a country feel. I added a few of the Holiday Rhinestones just to mention!

The ultimate card design is quick and easy to make! Again, I stamped the holly and seeds onto a piece of Light Sea Foam cardstock. Add a sentimental line with Cherry Cobbler and Gold Ribbon, then top it off with Cherry Cobbler and Pear Pizzazz.

The holiday season calls for handmade cards, especially this time of year. That’s why I decided to make this DIY Christmas card.

I’m Making Hand Drawn And Colored Christmas Cards. I Have Five More Cards To Make.

This post contains some links for your convenience (ie if you buy from the link I may get a small commission but it won’t cost you much)!

Trace the triangle in the center of the paper with a pencil. This triangle is for you to have an idea of where to draw the banner.

After you have drawn the triangle and are happy with the placement, clean it up a bit. You want a very simple symbol for the triangle.

Artistic Christmas Card

Now that you know where the banner is going, draw an “S” shape that continues to draw. The triangle will help us determine the width of the banner.

Before you start designing the banner, make sure it is long enough for the holiday slogan you want to write on the inside of the banner.

On this paper, I will write “Enjoy everything and be happy always”. So the length of the banner is enough for those words.

Make any necessary changes you want on the banner. I recommend that before you start painting, be sure to match the edges and sides of your banner.

Easy Christmas Card Ideas

Draw a V shape on both sides of the banner to seal it. Now, connect the two “continuous S” shapes to the ends on both sides.

Trace over the banner drawing using your Micron 05 pen or you can use another black monoline pen of your choice. Once you are done displaying the banner doodle, erase the pencil marks.

I used my Micron 08 to run on the ribbon once so it looks pretty good.

To make the banner more attractive, you can add text on the back of the banner instead of writing the text.

Quick And Easy Christmas Card Idea With Patterned Paper

I added the closest lines. You can choose to draw different details or color in some way like I did with this DIY Father’s Day card.

As I said before, I write “Happy Holidays and Always” inside the banner. Make sure you write all the holidays you want on this card.

PRO TIP: Choose the words you will write on your DIY card BEFORE you design the banner. This way you know the height and width of your banner and draw the words inside the banner first with a pencil.

45 Amazing Christmas Paper Crafts & Decorations

As you can see, the last word is not based, so I added the decoration at the end. That’s one of the reasons I recommend pulling everything first. Drawing and pencil will help you separate your words from the ribbon.

To add small lines on the inside of the banner, I used Micron 01. Drawing the lines at the edge of the banner makes it look realistic.

Draw a star on the banner: For this type of star, you need to make a diamond on one side until you have a star.

To give it more dimension, add a line between each diamond shape and color everywhere else.

Christmas Tree Bubble-wrap Craft

If you want, you can leave such a card. But you can add more details to the map. Use a Gelly Roll pen and add a small star around the banner. You can use the same silver paint pen for the details.

Draw little stars and dots around the banner. I think this makes it stand out more and gives it a more festive and Christmas atmosphere.

This step is not necessary, but I think it adds pop to the card when you add shadows to the letters. To add shading to the letters, add a line to the right and bottom of each part of the letter using your Micron pencil.

What do you think? I just love how this card looks. The color comes out of the paper. And I like to combine craft paper with silver, the kind that looks white in videos and pictures, but is silver. The silver lettering goes well with the details I added with the Sakura Gelly Roll pen.
