First, use your water brush. Squeeze a little to get some of the water out. Then brush with water to create a circle shape.

Then grab one of the water-based markers and dab it on the places you’ve colored with water. This is how we create a watercolor effect with markers and a water brush.

If you see that the color is not vivid enough, grab a pencil and color again.

Use a paper towel or rag to clean the water brush so it doesn’t stick to the other watercolor background.

To speed up the drying process, grab a cloth and dab it to remove excess water.

Balloon Birthday Card

Repeat the above steps with the desired markers for the watercolor background. I use three different colors because in the next steps I will draw balloons on them.

Draw rectangles using a black marker and color inside. Here is our happy birthday letter written.

Make sure the rectangles are large enough to fit the text inside. And if you want to add a longer message, you can draw even more rectangles.

After the watercolor background was completely dry, I used the Pigeon Letters 03 single line pencil to draw the balloons.

Using your best handwriting, write Happy Birthday inside the black rectangles you drew earlier. I chose to write Happy Birthday in large letters using a Craftsmart Extra Fine Oil Marker, but you could use any white gel pen or marker that would stand out against the background of the back rectangles.

If you like this block font style. And I want to practice it, I made you a block letter worksheet. Fill out the form at the bottom of this blog post to get your FREE!

Diy Teacher’s Day Greeting Card/handmade Teachers Day Card Making Ideas/how To Make Card For Teacher

Let’s create a fun card with a super simple background! Here’s what you need if you want to create with me: I’m excited to share 2 easy greeting cards that you can make in no time! These handmade thank you cards are bright, cheery and so easy to make!

I make all of the Easy Peasy 1-2-3 cards easy enough for beginner stampers, but include other fun elements for advanced card makers. The two simple greeting cards I have today are perfect for all skill levels.

Many times someone comments on my clothes on YouTube videos.  So today I chose sundress colors as the inspiration colors for this handmade thank you card!  The colors chosen are Balmy Blue, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green.

Get a Stampin’ Up! Tropical Chic Stamp Set up and start by stamping a large fern in Granny Apple Green on Whisper White (3 3/4″ x 5″) layer. Since my sundress was mostly blue, I decided to go with bolder leaves with Balmy Blue since my dress was the inspiration, right?

Fill the rest of the layer with other leaves and flowers using other colors. Ta-Da! You’ll have two simple greeting cards in no time!

Let’s have some fun and save some paper on these simple cards!  I punched holes in the whisper white cardstock with the ‘Label Me Fancy’ punch, then did the same stamping as on the first paper.  Next, I punched the Melon Mambo layer with the ‘Label Me Lovely’ punch and used it to cover my holes on top of the Whisper White layer. Once you put Whisper White and Melon Mambo together, no one will ever know!

15 Diy Father’s Day Cards Dad Will Love

My name is Sharon Armstrong and I have been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator since 1997! I have been married to my husband Mark for over 40 years and we have 5 children, their wives and 10 grandchildren!

At first I worked on my stamp business full time. In 2014, I decided to make a full-time career at Stamp and I really enjoyed it. And for that you will be blessed! I have met so many dear friends on my journey thanks to rubber stamp! The Life is Beautiful stamp set features this lovely tree with a variety of leaves, snowflakes and dots that you can use to decorate it. But you don’t have to use the tree trunk from this set, you can make beautiful cards yourself from the rest of the stamps. For these cards I did some simple paint blending and masking to create clean and simple cards. So go ahead! Let’s start stamping.

All three cards use the same cutout dimensions. This first card uses Pool Party, Coast Cabana and Gorgeous Grape inks.

First, I covered the top and bottom of a piece of white cardstock with sticky notes, leaving a strip about 1-1 1/2 inches wide exposed. For the Life is Beautiful card, I blended the Coast Cabana ink from bottom to top of this strip and the Pool Party ink from top to bottom. For the Hello card I used Flirty Flamingo ink all over the ribbon and for the Thinking of You card I used Mango Melody ink.

Handmade Valentine Cards And Tags

The Hello card is placed on the Flirty Flamingo card and then on the base of the Rich Razzleberry card. Patches are stamped with Flirty Flamingo, Magenta Madness and Rich Razzleberry inks.

The Thinking of You card uses Mango Melody, Real Red and Cajun Craze inks. It is placed on a Mango Melody card and then on a Real Red card base.

To finish off these cards with a little bling, I added some self-adhesive Artistry Blooms to the front.
