Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Easter Card For Simply Stampin’ Sunday
I started making a series of Easter cards using my favorite package of 6 x 6 inch Easter papers from Echo Park. The colors were so beautiful it was hard to decide which sheet to start with!
To make life easier, I topped it off with a matching pack of ephemera with dies and a pack of my favorite 12″x12″ Easter solid paper set from Echo Park.
I created 14 cards this way, using card making patterns to help with card design, and had enough scraps left to make a few more cards.
Whenever I prepare a batch of cards, I prepare the entire set by hand in advance to save time later. So I started by preparing all the card bases and background layers with sturdy paper wrap.
Red And Blue Illustrated Eggs Easter Card
I cut out lots of flowers and little Easter bunnies and chicks to use as decorations. Recently I’ve been trying to be more eco-friendly when choosing decorations.
I used some odd dies from different sets and a new purchase from Poppy Stamps called the Potpouri Flower set.
For the last three cards, I used dies from Whimsy Stamps to use up leftovers because I was running out of large pieces of patterned paper.
I stamped the images with brown ink to create a more subtle outline. I colored some with alcohol markers and others with crayons.

Of the two mediums, I prefer crayons because the effect is smoother. Which do you like more?
I also used patterned paper and the die from the cover from Whimsy Stamps and the Happy Easter die from Paper Rose.
It was colored with Polychromos crayons and cut out with the lovely Spring Oval die set from Whimsy Stamps.
