You know what i’m talking about! But if not, you will find it! Because I’m going to show you some quick hacks for making your own fun photo-doodles!
Doodle Canva
And the best part?! You don’t need Photoshop to do this! Your girlfriend is giving away some of her own pictures for free (yes, you’re right). All you need to create this beautiful piece of art on Instagram is:
A Small Gathering
Add a color overlay if you have access to Photoshop). However, I have provided the PNG files in black and white… so I hope you like these colors! 🙂
Similar to what I used for the original image. I made it a long time ago (didn’t know I was writing this tutorial) and didn’t save all the images as “smart objects” in Photoshop. This means that the quality is no longer high, so you don’t need it.
First things first! You should click on the download link in the email I sent you (on the first page of the PDF attached to the email).
You will be taken to a Dropbox folder containing transparent black and white PNG files.

You should see a Download button in the upper right corner. Click on it and select “Direct Download” from the drop-down list.
If you plan to use this photo for Instagram, make sure to make the file the right format for the platform!
Anything larger than 4:5 will be cropped when you post to Gram, so get it right the first time! 🙂
So instead of clicking on the image, drag the image from your taken photos onto the blank canvas. Your photo will become the background for your new artwork. 🙂

Just click on one of the drawing files and place it on your Instagram photo! I won’t talk about Canva’s design features, but if you want to learn more…
Other than that, here’s a quick little GIF I made to give you some ideas for your drawings!
First drag the files to a smaller size by holding one of the corners of the picture and dragging it anywhere on the screen.
