Before we dive in, for those of you who don’t know what Canva is, here’s a quick rundown.

Canva is an extremely user-friendly drag-and-drop online design tool that allows anyone to create incredible designs without needing the knowledge or experience of a design professional.
Canva is a freemium tool, so you can use a lot for free and download an unlimited number of designs for free.
However, there are some features that you can only use if you pay for a Canva Pro subscription (or try their 30-day free trial).
When it comes to creating a logo in Canva, the easiest option is to start with a template.

Canva currently has around 1,400 logo templates that you can use as a starting point for your logo design.
From the Canva home page you have a few options when it comes to searching for templates, you can simply search for “logo” in the search bar (or do a specific search like “beauty logo”).
This will show you many related logo templates that you can easily browse to find the template you want.
Doing so will take you directly to the Canva editor where you can search or search for features and select a logo template from the Templates tab on the left.

One thing to note is that if you only have a free Canva account, the above method of searching and selecting a logo template means that you will only be able to download logos with a maximum size of 500px x 500px.
With Canva Pro, you can easily resize your design, but if you plan to stick with Canva Free and want a larger logo design, here’s what you need to do:
From the Canva home page, click the Create Design button on the top right, click Custom Size, and enter the size you want your logo to be (eg 2000px x 2000px).
After clicking on “Create New Design”, you will be taken to the editor where you can search and find the logo template you want. Your logo design will be available for download in the size of your choice (for free).
