Try an abstract composition or use something literal, such as a photograph taken directly from a natural scene.

30 Creative Ideas To Transform Boring Bathroom Corners

Every powder room needs a mirror, but a unique frame can double as a beautiful and functional piece of art. If you’re on a tight budget, flea markets and thrift stores are great places to find unique styles. Plus, the steam from your shower creates a welcoming environment for your greenery. This past weekend I continued to work on our master bathroom and while my other work wasn’t finished, I did make progress on it. Drawer boxes are finished and installed, drawer fronts are made. Now I just need to add the drawer fronts and put the finish on the finish and I’ll have all three cabinet/furniture components (they’re not standard cabinets because I don’t know what to call them) 12.5 feet of wall work done.

So, I can’t decide if I want to leave these two wall spaces alone (for example, empty so that the focus is on the wall decor) or if I want to add something interesting to these walls.

I’m not one of those people who think every blank wall should be filled. At the same time, my decorating style is by no means minimalist. I wouldn’t call myself a maximalist, but if there was a spectrum from minimalist to maximalist, I’d definitely fall somewhere in between as a maximalist.

I don’t want to add anything that will break the wallpaper. So I don’t know what to do with these walls.

I always imagined these walls to be empty, but for some reason I began to feel that I should add something to them. Coordinating artwork? Small shelves? I just don’t know. But once I put nails or screw holes in those walls, there’s no going back.
