In most cases, the first step is to format the poem on a blank canvas. Depending on your vision of the art of poetry, this may involve simply copying and pasting the poem into a text box. I recommend using an editing software that gives you full control over your poem art, as it allows you to use any media you need with advanced customization and editing tools.
To begin formatting a poem on a blank canvas, open and click “Start Editing.” Start with a blank canvas here. You can choose the size and color
Once you’ve set up your digital paper, add the poetry directly to the page. Select “Text” from the top toolbar to add text boxes and type your poem one stanza or line at a time.
