In a nutshell, the homeowners wanted to see a radical change in their en-suite and worked with designer Laura from Ripples Wokingham to make their bathroom dreams come true.

25 Gray And White Small Bathroom Ideas

The homeowners wanted to build a bathroom with a large shower cubicle, a vanity and a double vanity, so the layout of the room was an important factor in making the right choice. Inspired by the look of concrete and natural materials, homeowners were eager to embrace the ambiance and imperfections that these materials bring, while enhancing the look with quality custom copper.

“My clients wanted to look at the concrete industry and compare the quality of mixed copper. The color scheme should be dark and loud, spa-like. “

The first step in this project was to agree on the location. Since the dimensions of the room are too long and narrow (4m x 1.7m), to accommodate the shower and bath, Laura divided the room in half, creating a space at the end towards the shower cubicle and the separate bath. entrance door.

On the shower side of the room, Laura worked with other existing amenities to create convenient storage areas for shower products that would be well hidden from view when entering the room. To make the space as comfortable as possible, Laura added a long towel radiator next to the toilets, which provides the perfect place to warm soft towels and complete the home spa experience. By using the wall space in this way, Laura was able to install a large shower complete with a large rain head in beautiful brushed brass. Laura completed the space with a small glass shower that provides a clear view of the wall and ambient light at the back of the room.

Minimalist Bathroom Makeover: A Simple Space In Green & Grey

On the other side of the room, Laura placed a private bathroom in the space. With its smooth length, the bathtub has a deep bathing space despite its compact size, which provides the perfect place to relax and unwind. To create balance in the shower area, Laura replicated the LED-lit recess above the tub, which in turn creates a convenient storage area for shampoo bottles and the bath tub. Then a matching brushed brass bowl was chosen for the bathroom combination and a hand shower was added so that the homeowner could easily wash her hair and clean the bath. The copper tone used in the space completes the room nicely and provides warmth in contrast to the cool gray tiles.

In the middle of the room, Laura has integrated a double wardrobe that offers plenty of hidden storage and two matching seating areas. The modern aesthetic continues with the selection of small faucets in a copper tone mixed with other brassware. The pool area is finished with a large circular LED-lit mirror, which adds a soft glow to the other interesting layers of lighting inside the room.

When it came to tiling, Laura chose porcelain tile and used it floor to ceiling to create a dramatic, concrete effect. Real cracked limestone was then used in the gutters and interior to add an interesting natural texture to the space, and this was highlighted with lights to illuminate its beautiful, natural imperfections.

Overall, what makes this bathroom stand out is its smart design, pleasant hues and atmospheric lighting, as well as the quality finish of products, fixtures and fittings. Customers call it a “spa cave”!
