It’s no secret that the Cricut Maker is one of my favorite and most used tools. One of the big reasons I love this so much is;

Ideas For Cricut Maker

Versatile. I love using Maker for every sewing project I can, but I also use Maker for many projects that don’t involve sewing at all, and I love using Maker with a variety of materials. In addition to fabrics, I’ve used it on leather, iron-on, infusible inks, and even wood. To help you make your own Maker juice, today I’m partnering with Cricut to share 10 Cricut Maker project ideas. You will see how versatile this machine is.

29 Amazing Cricut Gift Ideas To Make In 2024

This toddler backpack is one of my favorite Cricut Maker projects. I feel like this was a true test of how much I could trust Maker with the projects I was involved in. Can you believe I used it to cut?

All over the backpack?! Fabrics, Adhesive Interfacing, Adhesive Fleece, and Leather are available on the Cricut site! To be honest, I was a little surprised you didn’t sew me a backpack, hehe. In the project post I also shared a Design Space project so you can have your Maker cut everything for you.

I think the most common use of cutters for DIYers is as gifts. This frayed zip pocket is the perfect gift for a friend, teacher or even yourself. Maker’s rotating blade cuts with incredible precision. In the Design Space project linked in my post, the Maker cuts the frayed pieces, irons them on perfectly, and also leaves the fun sewing part up to you. And this lovely fabric print was found on Cricut.com.

Who doesn’t love a monogrammed gift? If you’re looking for your first Cricut Maker + wood project, these DIY monogram coasters are a great place to start. The makers have cut the basswood coaster shapes and monogram cutouts to perfection, and you can use scraps of your favorite fabric to peek between the layers. A super fun personalized Cricut Maker project idea.

Print Then Cut Cricut Transfer T-shirts

If you haven’t used real Cricut leather yet, give it a try. This is one of my favorite materials to cut with the Maker (hello perfectly cut leather clams!) and is so great for creating unique, cute, long-lasting, high-quality projects. I have this little leather bag in my purse that holds all my gift cards. It makes me smile every time I take it out to use.

What is this, a more perfectly cut leather clam. This Cricut Maker Leather Keychain is another project I still enjoy every day and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. This Cricut Maker project idea uses both genuine Cricut leather and irons to create quick and satisfying projects. Perfect for succulent lovers like me.

This DIY Tic Tac Toe Pillow is another project that uses your Maker in multiple ways, including your sewing machine. Cricut real leather and iron are the stars again, and the combination creates fun textures that are perfect if you’re looking for quirky Cricut Maker project ideas.

I mean, who doesn’t love a good fanny pack? And who needs that more than a mom?! Now, with this Cricut Maker Mom, you can carry all the napkins, snacks, rocks and more you need to bring home in style. Fanny packs with a theme.

30+ Cricut Gift Ideas That Take 1 Hour Or Less To Make

I’m doing it! For this DIY heart purse, the Design Space project once again had the maker cut the fabric, adhesive interfacing, self-adhesive fleece, and even the leather for a cute DIY leather zipper. Perfect for Valentine’s Day and beyond. If you’re looking for a place to be your little one’s favorite gift giver, this might be for you ;).

Have you tried quilting projects with your Cricut Maker. This Quilted Arrow Rice Bag (I used a bunch of cute fabrics from Cricut.com) is a great way to enter the world of paper strips. The maker’s rotating blade prepares all the dough pieces. Add the EasyPress Mini as a companion to your sewing table, and you’ll probably never want to make paper strips any other way. Pair a rice bag with a cute sleeping mask decorated with iron-on cuts from the manufacturer and you have the perfect set when you want to relax from your craft.

Whether you like to rough it or like me, you like to imagine yourself relaxing in a cute little trailer, this Cricut Camping Themed T-Shirt and Coaster project is packed with video instructions and tips for success.
