Book Cover Design Ideas Handmade Easy – I think I’m a little obsessed with origami. I love how a few simple lines can create these delicate and unique shapes.

I’m not kidding when I say I made this project today (the day this post was published). That’s how easy and quick this DIY is!

And I bet you already have all the materials for this project at home 😉

How To Design Pink Book Covers

You can follow my lead and make this hummingbird origami bird or choose any shape you want, maybe an origami crane?

And you don’t have to worry about the thickness of the book cover, because mine is compact, and with the simple help of a pushpin, you can make a small hole in the wall.

– Prepare your book. Determine the position of the origami bird and place a piece of cardboard between the cover and the first page, to protect the face.

– Download and print for free. Or copy the picture on a sheet of paper in the desired size.

* You can use a piece of painters tape to hold the template in place for the next step.

– Use your pushpin to make a hole in the lid. Repeat the holes while following the dots on the template until you have completed them all.

– Remove the template from the cover. Check if you missed any holes and check if the holes are big enough to pass your needle all the way through.

– Start weaving by tying the bones in the thread and connecting the holes. Keep the sample nearby as a reference.

* Optional: To hide messy embroidery inside, you can glue the first page of the book cover.
