Apartment Design Ideas Philippines – This rental house is the home of my expat friend Sandra and her family in Manila. Philippines I was lucky enough to visit her home shortly after our arrival in Manila. As you can imagine I was pleasantly surprised when I first walked in.

The house is filled with art and decorations that Sandra and her husband have collected over the years. Items displayed in their home depict eternal life abroad as well as travels around the world. Sandra is a wonderful singer. She organizes birthday parties and cooks for friends at her house during the day. Her spread was very impressive.

If you ask me what is my favorite moment in expat life? My answer is when I am with talented colleagues from all over the world, like at Sandra’s party. We realize that we are happy in many ways at the same time. We are connected because we all go through the same challenges of expat life as traveling spouses do. Companionship is a gift that I value in this lifestyle.

This is the guest bedroom where the lucky winner can spend time. The chair in the corner was bought at a Sunday market in Brazil. Brazil is a country that Sandra and her family called home for many years before moving to Manila. It was also the country where her second child was born.

This is Sandra’s son’s room. Her son is the youngest of two children and a good friend of my son. This could be my son’s dream room with a Star Wars bedspread, Star Wars character toys, and Super Hero wall posters, all of my son’s favorite things! This room has lots of ideas for boys’ rooms.
