To be fair to Larian, your husband looks like Clark Kent was put in a phone box and, after a whirlwind makeover, came out as an advertising model for a mid-range family saloon.
Also, I have to admit that the character I built with the intention of playing as my “boss” was a pretty standard ranger/legacy type. So, properly fired, I decided to restart as the most interesting person in the world.
The character creator has a lot of options, but currently it’s not so detailed that you have a slider to change the size of your nose, for example. I can’t play through BG3 like a believable version of Simon Cowell [Googling sweaty for a vague reference to an easy target but not a politician]. And besides, we are trying to make someone interesting! Shh shh shh!
I was originally going to go with purple haired Githyanki for the most contrast, but the mention of Larian gives us away.

Playing is a clear indication that they think Tieflings are the most interesting, so whatever, I guess. Tieflings are ‘plane-touch’, meaning they are a bit of demonic descent and therefore have cool horns and shit. There are other types of planets, including Aasimar, the same but for angels, and I hope they will be in the final version as well. I digress: the point is, our statistically interesting character will be a big horned friend.

I chose a deep purple for the skin tone and then spent ages deciding how to balance it with the combination of eye and hair color to create the greatest color clash. For example, it is clear that we need to be in the green / orange / yellow area for the highest hitting potential of statements. It also took years to decide which branches were the most “interesting”. I went with the largest as a very reliable metric. For example, if you saw two people with horns on the street, you would be interested in the bigger one, right? After my initial interest in both, I mean.
How To Build A Character
It was also reasonable to try to make character building as interesting as possible. Like most people, I try to draw some sort of line between my background and my class and race to make sense: my guardian was a half-elf with a back -raon solitary, which matched his abilities well with his class and abilities. Also, you know, you can think of him as a big weirdo who gets dirty a lot by himself in the woods.
A very interesting character is also a Ranger, but they are a Tiefling with resistance to cold and their favorite enemy is the things that conquered the planet, hohoho. Moreover, their origin is noble. They belong to the nobility. eat it
I almost did Fighters on them but the Ranger options were more fun. Although I think this build can be a bit awkward to play. They also have tentacle tattoos around their eyes, just placed. I’m really having trouble engineering the backgrounds from building characters, so any suggestions are welcome.
Please don’t point out that the color scheme is like the Joker, because I realized, it’s too late now, and it’s not funny.
