Gluten Free Dairy Free Meal Prep Ideas – Happy Friday! Well, this week went by fast. We’ll be moving in over two months, which means the next few weeks are going to be hectic around here. Speaking of hustling, I woke up this morning with a suspicious cast oven, so today is going to be a fun activity for me! This weekend will be full of cleaning the house top to bottom and throwing out all the junk. We expect to bring very little to this new home and want our purchases to be meaningful. Since life is all over the place, it was nice to have all my meals counted for a week. The convenience of cooking is a dream. I usually spend a lot of money on groceries, make multiple trips to the store, and stress about what to cook each night. This week has been very quiet as I have my meals ready.
Meal prep is something I want to continue doing every Sunday, and one way to keep me motivated is to share meal prep with you all. 😊 I made a YouTube video for cooking so be sure to watch and don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel for more! 😊
Gluten Free Dairy Free Meal Prep Ideas
I know there are seven days in a week, but I only cook for five days. I’m a little weird about eating something for five days and I don’t believe in meal planning on the weekends. My weekends are when I like to try a new restaurant, eat Chipotle, or make a giant salad to go with a few slices of pizza. It always helps me stay on track during the week and I’m usually ready for something different by day five.

My weekly budget was around $100, but I think I underestimated myself because it was way more than I should have spent. The budget also depends on the type of food of the week. If I had to make something fancier or 100% organic, I would go up! I might try cooking with everything from Trader Joe’s this weekend to see how the budget changes.
I hope you enjoy my cooking tutorial! I create a lot of lists like this for my weekly schedule and let me know if you want to see more of them! You can save it by right-clicking it or by opening it in a new tab and printing it.
On the left I write my menu, the middle lines are for the food I need to pick up, the little boxes in the center are what I already have, and the far right is for all the food related notes.
One thing I do is go through the fridge to see what I already have before I start planning meals for the week. Since I had oatmeal, tuna, and green beans, I decided to include them in the meal plan. I used ingredients I already had which helped keep the budget down and also prevented food from going to waste.
Need Some Help
Without using any coupons, I only spent $52.02! If I had coupons or had other things in the house like cinnamon, chia seeds, apple cider vinegar, and syrup, I’m sure I could have kept it down. Instead of grabbing what looked good, I focused on prices. My goal was to keep it as low as possible, and sometimes making small trades like red grapes instead of green ones alone saved $2-3.
Once you have your list, search for coupons, check prices at some grocery stores, and plan your trip. Sometimes grocery stores price-match similar items, which can save you a few dollars.
I’ve chosen to make most of my meals plant-based because that’s what I’ve been craving lately and it’s so cheap. I really get confused when people say that a plant-based diet is too expensive. Plant-based packaged foods are very expensive, and fancy vegan restaurants will require you to take out a second mortgage to eat there, but buying plant-based foods can be very affordable. If you want all your food to be plant-based, make sure it’s vegan and swap the tuna for another can of chickpeas.
I’ve included the macros and daily totals for all the meals in the video if you’d like to follow along. I don’t keep track of my calories, but for anyone who does, I thought I’d include them in the plan. You should always talk to your doctor or dietitian about your dietary needs. We are all different and our bodies need different things.
Healthy Ranch Chicken Salad :: An Easy Gluten & Dairy Free Meal Prep For The Week!
The first thing I made was homemade granola. I live for this all week and it’s so easy and cheap to make. I always make my meals in a certain order to reduce the number of dishes and speed up the time.
While the granola is in the oven, I make the energy balls. These are perfect for an afternoon snack or a quick source of energy before or after a workout.
You can customize them by using different nut butters, adding chocolate chips, or using your protein powder of choice.
**I mentioned this in the video, but to save time on meals, use the same pan for multiple recipes. I used this bowl for granola, energy balls, muffins, and tuna salad. And if you clean after each recipe, you’ll eliminate all the cleanup time in the end.Â
Gluten Free And Dairy Free 7 Day Meal Plan –
My 3 Ingredient Brownies are another favorite and a must have. These keep my sugar cravings at bay and keep me from snacking on everything after dinner. They are a super cheap and healthy dessert to make.
They are a type of lunch sandwich. I don’t like anything heavy or hot for dinner because it makes me feel sluggish. Since I love chickpea and tuna salad sandwiches, I decided to go for them and I already had chickpeas and tuna in the house.Â
If you’re looking for a low-carb option for lunch, try lettuce wraps or pepperoni rolls.
The key to keeping the bread fresh and dry is to add a lettuce barrier between the bread and the tuna pea salad. I’m on my fifth day of cooking and the bread is stale and not soggy at all.
Thai Quinoa Salad (gluten Free & Vegan)
I steamed the potatoes, sliced them, and baked them in a 400 degree oven with Brussels sprouts. I steamed and roasted green beans.
If you are not a fan of tofu, you can substitute it with shrimp, chicken or scallops. All three versions taste the same when cooked.
This is one of my favorite ways to cook tofu! The pad thai sauce with air-fried tofu is like a restaurant! After air-frying the tofu, I finished it in a pan with sesame seeds, pad thai sauce, and sesame oil. This makes them crispier with the glaze. Now I use Sky Valley pad thai sauce in almost every meal.
One of the reasons I love tofu is that it is easily customizable. It has almost no flavor, so you can make it whatever you want. You can flavor it like buffalo wings, breaded chicken nuggets, or even eggs. And it is relatively cheap compared to meat.

If you don’t have an air fryer, you can cook the tofu in the oven at 400 degrees for twenty minutes. Half way back!
I found my cookware on Amazon! I bought two of the ten packs because I wanted to make extra meals and that’s a great price for the quality of these pans. They are easy to wash and better than plastic containers for cooking. Gluten Free Meal Prep Recipes To Try This Week
Okay, so I don’t think they have a name yet, but it’s a way of eating where you avoid all gluten and dairy. It’s not a diet to lose weight (although it can happen!), it’s more of a healthy way of eating to improve your health and detect any food intolerances.
Less restrictive than eating a paleo diet that bans dairy and gluten, that’s right: it bans! whole legumes and grains, because according to some sources, these foods can make a dog sick. Especially if you’re already dealing with digestive issues.
We’re not making big changes here, though
