Living And Dining Interior Design – My favorite place in this house to share with you for a long time.. Living room and dining room silver. It’s big, airy and spacious, but envelops you in a comfortable, warm and vibrant embrace that never wants to leave you. So put your feet up and relax.. because you’re going to be hanging around here for a while.

The space is entered through a passageway through the main door. A passage on the opposite side leads to the bedrooms. These sections nicely divide the large hallway into the living room and dining room.

They don’t want a TV here, we have a comfortable seating circle along most of the hallway, making it a living area. The dining room has a comfortable six-seater fitted to the wall.

In the lower left part of the plan you can see the sloping walls of the entertainment and guest rooms. When I discovered that room, you saw how closed it looked. Today you will see how it looks open, as part of the living room.

Whether it’s two people sitting down with a cup of coffee or a large gathering of friends, the idea was to make it an intimate and inviting space. I think we achieved that very well.

We have a similar setup on the opposite side, with a large couch in the middle and a pair of chairs on either side.

Initially, we planned a coffee table in front of each sofa. But in the end I thought it looked too crowded.

This coffee table island was exactly what we were looking for. It sits well in the middle without taking up too much space. Tables can also be moved around the living room as needed, making it very convenient to use.

On the opposite side, we have a dining table on one wall of the dining room. A dresser opposite the dining room serves as a bar.

This corner is close to my heart and I love how all the different elements came together to bring it to life.

There is also a folding wall in the entertainment room opposite the dining table. It goes between the sofa and the bar. So when it’s closed, the sofa goes into the entertainment room, while the bar stays inside the dining room.

When open, the bar fits neatly behind the sofa, and the entertainment room becomes part of the living room.

The living room view will show you how comfortably it fits in the living room.

As always, we started building with carpet in our living and dining colors. As you can see above, we carried the purple and gray of the living room rug and sofa into the dining room rug.

Since we didn’t want everything purple, we chose the pink and green from this rug for the dining room pillows and upholstery. The dining bench is upholstered in a pretty pink paisley pattern, and this deep green cushion with pink flowers makes a striking contrast.

Our living room rug also has pinks and purples…plus lots of earthy yellows and oranges.

The client wanted bright colors in the living room, as opposed to grays in the entertainment area. I wanted to make sure that all the colors made sense together, as the recreation room will often be open and visible from the living room.

This is my favorite way to share a sense of the whole space and scope of the remodel. So here goes..

… which we replaced with a folding one to make the recreation room part of the living room.

Ceiling bookshelves and shelves in minimalist design give you enough space to store everything and optimize the available space to the maximum.

To create harmony in the space, each piece of furniture should be in proportion to the rest and should not be too large for the overall size of the room.

Design trends in recent years have undeniably revolutionized the concept of “purpose”. In the past, each room was planned for a specific purpose – cooking, watching TV, entertaining guests, etc., but now we focus on multi-purpose spaces that can be used by anyone in the house with maximum flexibility. When presenting a combination of living room and dining room, you should keep in mind the concept of unity and think about continuity. For example, if you’ve found inspiration for your living room in earthy colors like gray, clay and sand, it might be a good idea to continue the color scheme with toned accessories like dining chairs or rugs. And if the kitchen overlooks the living area, you can choose the same floor tiles and coverings for both; Porcelain ceramics with their attractive, subtle veins with a marble effect are the ideal common thread to perfectly connect two spaces.
