Card Making Design Ideas – These projects are a rehash of two of the July Simple Suite Stampers tutorial bundle projects, and thus provide an interesting look at the bundle this month. I used the Magnolia Good Morning stamp set, the coordinating Magnolia keepsakes, and some of the beautiful decorative papers that are included in this great product set.
The original designs for these cards were created by Raquel Butt (left) and Tara Stay (right). Thank you Raquel and Tara!
Card Making Design Ideas
I mixed things up based on what I had on hand. Plus, it’s always fun to put my own little twist on my designs! Here are my two iterations:
Handmade Greeting Card Latest Design
For Raquel’s vocal piece, she used one of the Magnolia Lane Memories and More cards. These memories and more cards are great for quick cards!
For the two versions below I used some Magnolia Lane design series paper. I just love this designer paper! It is so beautiful that the design of the card should be very simple so that it does not compete with the paper.
For this first version, I made an “air” with some white baker’s twine and attached it with a glue dot.
I used some silver metallic thread on the back of the sentiment and used Rhinestone jewels instead of pearls to coordinate.
Diy Christmas Flower Poinsettia Card
Other than these differences and the different color scheme, I used mostly the same materials as for the other simple card making ideas shared in today’s post.
These flowers turned out to be very rich and powerful! Watch my video ahead for all the details on this card.
Thanks for checking out the Simple Suite Stampers tutorial today! I hope you are inspired to create and play with watercolors and more!

If you’ve already started the blog hop, you must have come across a blog post by the talented Kim McGillis. if you’reBe sure to check out the full hop and see all the beautiful projects created by the Color Fusers Design team! […]? It was there. But here’s the good news: we’ve got all the information for quick cards that still look fun. You can make these cards in less than 30 minutes using materials you already have around the house (or buried in your craft room). Score!
For each of these projects, you’ll need a few basic supplies: card stock; blank cards and envelopes; cutting tools such as scissors, X-ACTO knife or paper trimmer; and an adhesive suitable for the paper. Additional resources for specific cards are described below.
Sometimes making a cute card is like… glue something to the front. Glue a pretty piece of cardboard to the front of a blank card, add a message, and grab an old birthday candle from your kitchen junk drawer.
Bright Colored Cards With The New Rainbow Splash
Create this fun design by printing or stamping your message (or in this case, messages) onto a blank card. Next, cut lengths of colored washi tape and use scissors to create organic porcelain shapes. Use these waves to frame your letters and your card is ready to roll!
When it comes to paper crafting, you can’t go wrong with stamping. This card uses simple triangles to create a geometric layout that we LOVE. Don’t have a stamp? No sweat – you can do it yourself by cutting a white eraser. If you have a little extra time, cut a pattern on your stamp for extra detail, use a die cutter or an X-ACTO knife!
Finally, a card that combines two of our favorite things: ice cream and coffee. (Similar). If your crafting obsession is fueled by caffeine, cut an old coffee cone into a cone and glue it to your card. Fill it with some unusual and you have a beautiful greeting.
To get this fun look, print or stamp the message from the card and just add a tissue paper. The tissue paper is transparent, so you can use a glue stick to stick the paper directly over your letters without fear of wearing them off.
Handmade Cards: Making A Cube Card With Ease
You can trace and cut circles by hand, but it’s easier (and much faster!) to use circular strokes.
We all are. bar points Print, stamp, or handwrite your message, then just press the unused eraser onto the blackboard and start dotting!
When it comes to stamps, erasers are definitely your BFF. Use pencil tip pens to create a cool ring effect and take a stencil of your choice to stamp the design. If you don’t have a stencil
