Christmas Decoration Ideas Dining Table – I’m at a loss as to which direction I want to go with my Christmas decorations this year. I’m not sure if it’s the social media or just the fact that I’ve been so busy this season…anyway, it’s been a struggle! I love Christmas and the joy and peace that we celebrate this year, so I try to make all the sounds around me and work on our first Christmas room in our house – we dining room. I used most of what I already had in my holiday decor stash and focused the decor on a sense of peace and tranquility. Welcome to our French country house decorated for Christmas!

I keep beautiful colors and sell them here. The wall color is my guide – soft green and white. For me, this palette is happy and peaceful.

I put my vintage tree in the corner of the room and decorated it with white and silver ornaments from my stash. This gorgeous black and cream ribbon from Shy Myrtle on Etsy is the only new thing in the room, and I love its French country vibe!

Decorate The Dining Room Table For Christmas

To create a simple Christmas table setting, I used my DIY macrame table runner as a base and decorated it with some faux garland and twinkling lights I found at Costco last year.

For each setting, glass and a spring of faux lavender complete the simple French country-inspired table setting.

I put the old Halloween costume angel wings on the couch again! I love this trick and I think it would look great in a soft and cozy room.

On the sofa, I wrapped the gift with metal paper and stripes used as decor, and another light shined along the length of the piece.

On the other hand, the calendar is finished in white wood, our walnut flowers and the white plate fill complete our white and green colors.

As a final touch, I used embroidery to attach greenery and bows to our lighting.

I’m so glad this room came out after struggling with “finding a place to decorate for the holidays” this month. This room really makes me happy and take a deep breath. I can’t wait to share this Christmas with my family and friends!
