Design Ideas Journal
This month I went with a watermelon theme. Summer always think of watermelon. Well, I would probably say the beach, but watermelon is a close second! I use grave brush pens and crayola super tips for colors. All items will be included below. I broke my 2021 number, but let’s be honest, I could have done better. I didn’t want them to line up perfectly, but it still didn’t look too weird. Otherwise, I’m happy with how it turned out. Adding small seeds really brings them all together.
Top 10 Vintage Bullet Journal Spreads
I bought a new model of a bullet journal, and used it for my calendar and to-do list. I don’t really use stencils, but if I could only have one, this set would be the one! It is included in the utility list. Making watermelon borders is easy.
I like to keep track of my fertility, exercise, reading, printing, etc. I don’t try to do it every day, but I use habit trackers to see how often I do certain things. I made a cast shadow with a big gap and I can write custom in it. This is my first time doing this and I love it. This spread did not last long. Look how easy the bottom part is.
This month I created a vertical calendar so I have space to write down each event. I like to have the day of the week before the date. I used a small fountain pen with a brush for writing and a micron to write the dates and times. I used washi tape on each side of the seeds so when I put it down I had a sharp line. The important thing is to make sure that the seed cluster overlaps the washi tape to create a defined line.
This one was inspired by the one and only Amanda Rach Lee! She expanded the ideas on the site and I realized I needed one more! I added small rainbows with my Crayola Super Tips. An easy way to copy “Bujo” is to write it in normal capital letters with a pencil and underline it.

Most people do this for Christmas, but I’m cooking up some ideas and need this page now! It would be nice to have it all year round. I always have so many ideas popping into my head, but not when I’m in the store at Christmas time! This is the first time I played with this “f” king, I think it’s good.
What says summer better than swimming lessons for my little one! My husband thought “he is better than me than her”. He thought he wouldn’t learn anything, but I proved him wrong! Well, Kinsley actually proved him wrong, that’s my girl. I will never regret paying for lessons after 6 months! She really learned a lot and I learned a lot myself because they put me in the water with her so I learned what to do with her. I can’t wait for next year!
The lessons are for 6 weeks, twice a week. I want to write down all the lessons so that we can continue to practice. I know I won’t remember anything next year, so now I’ll always check not just for information, but to remember! This is why I love journalism so much. It is very useful and enjoyable to watch.
