We would first reveal it alone at home on Christmas morning. But we were so busy preparing the family Christmas party that we completely forgot about it!

Since my birthday falls on a public holiday this year, I thought the day would be extra special to celebrate with family and friends. The reveal was definitely one of our best moments! We were both so excited to welcome our baby boy! Now that the excitement is over, you can finally focus on a name and organize your baby’s wardrobe. We can’t wait to meet the little one!

How to Make Our Gender Reveal Party Decor As you can see from the reveal party, we didn’t have a specific theme, but I knew I didn’t want it to be the usual blue and pink…I wanted to add my own. I expanded on my own to express myself, and did all the decorations myself. We actually had two parties, one with families and one with friends at home. Wearing the same outfit for both parties is a no-brainer.

I made this poster based on some old wives tales I saw online, designed it and added gold star stickers to the page that I thought would be accurate for my pregnancy. This added some interesting speculation to the guessing game. I cut some babies out of cardboard and hung them on a ladder at home using rope and fabric. My intention is to eventually frame these signatories in a shadow box for the children’s room. You can get these files here.
