Living Room With Dining Interior Design – It’s been a while since I shared with you my favorite part of this house.. The Silver living room and dining room. It’s big, airy, and spacious, but it gives you a soft, warm, and exciting hug that you’ll never want to leave. So put your feet up and get comfortable.
You enter the space through a passageway from the main door. The passage on the other side leads to the bedrooms. These sections divide the great hall into living and dining areas.

They don’t want a TV in here, so we have comfortable chairs in the great hall. In the kitchen, a six-seater bench fits against the wall.
Classy Design Ideas For A Living/dining Room
In the lower left part of the plan you can see the crumbling walls of the living room. When I opened the room, you saw it was locked. Today you will see how clear it is as part of the living room.
The idea was to make this space an intimate and welcoming space, whether it’s two people sitting over a cup of coffee or a large gathering of friends. I think we have been able to do that very well.
We have the same arrangement on the other side, with a large bed in the middle and a pair of chairs on either side.
Initially we arranged two coffee tables, one in front of each bed. However, in the end I thought it looked too full.

This coffee table island is exactly what we were looking for. It sits comfortably in the middle without taking up too much space. The tables can also be moved individually in the living room as needed, which is very convenient to use.
On the other side, there is a dining table against one wall of the kitchen. The counter opposite the kitchen serves as a bar.
This corner has my heart and I absolutely love how the different elements come together to bring it to life.
Opposite the dining table, we also have a retractable entertainment room wall. It flows between the sofa and the bar. So when it is closed, the sofa goes into the entertainment room, and the bar sits in the kitchen.
How To Fit A Dining Table In A Small Living Room
When open, the bar fits perfectly behind the sofa, and the entertainment room becomes part of the living room.
The view from the living area shows how easily it flows into the living room.
As always, we started building our living room and dining room colors and rugs. As you can see above, we carried the pink and gray color of the living room rug and sofa in the kitchen rug.
We didn’t want it all purple, so we chose pinks and greens for this rug. The dining chair is decorated with a beautiful paisley pattern, and the green and pink cushions create a striking contrast.

Our living room rug also has pinks and purples…with lots of yellows and oranges.
The client wanted a soft color in the living room to contrast with the gray color of the entertainment area. I wanted to make sure that all the colors made sense together because most of the time the recreation room was open and visible to the living.
This is my favorite way to get a sense of the whole space and the scale of the beauty. So here it is..
… to make the entertainment room part of the living room, we turned it into a folding room.

We worked on this house step by step. We started in the master bedroom when S&Y were newlyweds. When they were blessed with their adorable little angel, we made room for him. Now that she was a sweet girl, they were ready to make the living room and kitchen.
If you remodel other rooms in their home, you will see that they always prefer light neutral colors in their home. We kept this in mind when designing the living room and dining room at S&Y.
New Interior Trends In Kerala Dining Room Design For Your House –
When you enter the house, you have to walk down a long hallway before entering the living space. Our first goal was to make good use of the area as well as make it visually appealing. After all, this is the first impression of the house!
Next was the “L” shaped living and dining space. The living area leads to a large, beautiful balcony. Leave the interior wall for the kitchen.
If we put the kitchen table in the middle of it, it would look too crowded, so we pushed it to the corner. An L-shaped bench and a round table really helped open up the space here.
Finally, we built additional storage in the hallway leading to the bedroom. This gave S the much needed space to organize all the household extras.

It all makes the S&Y living room and dining room look easier than when we started!
They didn’t want a main door separate from the security door, so we put a “window” that opens behind the security grill. This means that the main door itself doubles as a security door.
When you open the door, you will come out of a curved path. We used the first part for storing shoes. This makes it easier to put on or take off your shoes when you enter or leave the house.
The next turn of the aisle, next to the living room, has a foyer and mirror. If we put them on the opposite wall, you could see them sitting on the sofa in the living room. But I thought it was more important for this wall to look warm and welcoming when I walked into the house. The way they are installed now, you can see them directly from the main door and they look good.

To use more space, we put a round table in the corner. On the one hand, the chair works with an “L” in the corner. On the other hand, we have 3 dining chairs to complete the circle.
Also, since we don’t waste any space in a small house, the kitchen has great storage underneath.
S needed a large storage unit in this section, so we installed floor to ceiling. There is also an old electrical box on that wall and the barrier helps to hide that as well. Using mirrors in storage cabinets can help open up space. In fact, I think this tab looks much bigger now than without storage!
Full sliding glass doors lead to the balcony and the living area has great views and natural light. S & Y we have lots of family and friends so we win
