Wood Panel Accent Wall Bedroom – We built this accent wall for our guest bedroom so I thought I’d share how we do it along with some tips and tricks. I love accent walls and I wanted to do this from the beginning when we planned this house, but I couldn’t decide what pattern to do on this wall, like grid, ribs, random patterns, boards and panels, so I drew to several different versions of the design before you decide on it. We spend a night laying the board, another night to fill the holes and sand, then another night to paint it.
Note: These instructions can be used for any wall panel pattern – they are not specific to my panel design. So, no matter what type of board you want to make (a square board, a flat board, and a ribbed board are all completely different), the basic “how to” instructions are the same.

A note about the paint color: I’ve included different pictures taken during the day and at night, both in direct sunlight and on cloudy days, so you can really tell what the color of the paint is!
