New flooring was installed, we will keep the same furnace which is removed for cleaning, and we will keep the same vent.
There is a hole in the lower right corner, next to the sink, without a cabinet. So we measured the space and bought a new base cabinet with drawers. It fits perfectly and although it is a little different, once painted it blends in perfectly.

A nice new light that gives good light when the sun isn’t shining through the window makes the kitchen look great.
We were able to save the original vent and fireplace and it really looks great in the space. Since the cabinets are dark and all the lights are in the room, we thought the cover would be white. I even wipe it clean and it still looks white. That was until everything was painted and when we brought everything back to the kitchen it turned out to be a beautiful bright white! The light made it look beige!

To dry the dishes in the sink, we bought a drying rack and kitchen utensils that we can store in the excess cabinets that are available in this kitchen.
