Art Design Ideas For Paper – It’s great to be creative with objects around your home and leaves are a great example. They are everywhere in different shapes and sizes. I will show you 2 different types of art using leaves from my garden. The first is skin pressure and the second is skin rubbing. My kids really enjoyed both activities and it cost me absolutely nothing!
It really is as simple as it seems – paint some leaves and print them on the paper. It wasn’t as messy as I expected, but it’s always good to lay down newspaper so that when you paint your leaves, you don’t paint the table.

This can be a bit difficult for young children as they don’t rub the crayons hard enough or even in the same direction. My 4 year old struggled with this activity, but my 6 and 8 year olds did it with ease. Again, this is a very cheap and quick activity that gives the kids a lot of satisfaction and will have them hunting around the garden for the perfect leaf.

Once you’ve mastered the technique, you can rub and combine drawings to create a work of art. For example, draw a face and use leaves as ears. The leaves can also be used as flower petals. The possibilities are endless!

24 Unique Paper Decor Crafts You Can Make In An Afternoon
Paper quilting is an art form that dates back to the Renaissance and is known for its delicate and detailed designs. You’ll need a few basic supplies to get started:
The basic technique of paper quilling is the wrapping of paper strips into rolls. To do this, take a strip of paper and insert one end into the slot of the quilling tool. Start rolling, making sure the paper is tight and even. When you get to the end, gently lower the spool and it should hold its shape. Practice makes perfect, so don’t be discouraged if your first few coils aren’t perfect.
Once you’ve mastered the art of rolling, you can move on to creating basic shapes. Some common shapes include circles, tears, and squares. You can combine these shapes into more complex designs. Experiment with different sizes and colors to unleash your creativity.
Glue is your best friend when paper quilling. To assemble your designs, simply add a small amount of glue to the end of the tape and press it onto the adjacent spool. Be patient as it may take time for the glue to set. Tweezers can be handy for precise placement.
