If you want to get your hands, glue stick and all, there are decorations to get your hands dirty with. We’ve compiled a short list of our absolute favorite decorations that you can make yourself (maybe with a little help from your girls). Put on your paint shirt, head to Michaels and grab the glitter glue because these decorations require you to be smart!
The Best Elegant And Affordable Bridal Shower Decorations
We love the look of these personalized champagne bottles, both festive and a little surprising. We recommend getting regular glitter, mod podge and a roll of tulle for this job. If you want to completely personalize the bottle, grab some Avery labels and create a letter in a Word document that matches your theme. You will first tape off the parts of the bottle that you want visible and paint mod podge on the rest of the bottle. Once the bottle is covered in mod podge, pour the glitter over the bottle – slowly to ensure complete coverage. Once dry, feel free to cover the bottle with another layer of mod podge to make sure the glitter stays. Finally, attach the labels where they would normally sit on the bottle. If you want to do something like this, make sure you have a lot of time and patience. This is a fun thing to do if you have other attendees to help build it before you go to the bachelor party!
Of all the decorations, this is one of our favorites! What bride doesn’t want to be around her groom’s face all weekend?! Get a clear picture of your husband and take it to Kinkos or Staples to have it printed… at least a foot high… on post paper, and cut a large popsicle stick from Michael’s. Once you have found the large images of the groom, cut them out and stick them on a popsicle stick. Look! You have the best gallery!
This one is so easy and looks perfect! Go to Amazon to find the white cowboy hat, veil and MRS patches. Grab some super glue and hey, you’re good to go! This is perfect for a Nashville bride and groom. If you want to go all out, get some rhinestones and create like our customers did for their brides!

Bachelorette, Bachelorette Party Planner, Bachelorette inspiration, decor, DIY decor, dec, DIY, DIYer, cowboy hat, streamer wall, custom decor, custom bachelorette party, balloon garland, bride to be, bride, I got your Bash, o get yours bach, champagne Comment Hello friends!! I had the honor of hosting a special event this past weekend, which filled my big heart and made me smile even more. These have been difficult months for everyone. We live in a new environment with many uncertainties. I feel for the people who were very sick and didn’t celebrate big life events like graduations, weddings, etc… because of this epidemic. We were supposed to go to Italy this summer for my brother’s wedding. Although the trip has been postponed, their wedding has not! We are very excited for their big day in a few weeks which will be a very small family affair.
I know every country is different now in terms of statutes and scope of collection. I am writing this post to share my thoughts and because I like to write about a wonderful event like welcoming a beautiful person, whom I love very much into our family. Much that we took for granted has been wiped out; going to hear live music, eat at a fancy restaurant to name a few that aren’t the same – including the Bachelorette’s.  I decided to surprise my bride with an evening on our front porch full of great food, bubbly and live music!
If you’re hosting a backyard Bachelorette, you’ll want to make your patio or deck area a fun focal point. I think a bar is the perfect place to do that. I started by building a bar with pipe shelves, pipes and timber. I wanted a place to display cute cups, reusable straws, and wine/champagne in a cute ice cream mold I made. Also for orange water. I hung fake greenery over the 3m pieces and added flowers to hide them. Above the fake green hung a balloon “BACH” short for the bachelorette 😉
Bachelorette Party Ideas
I decided to go with an orange and floral theme… I found an amazing lemon/orange stick at the Target Dollar location along with some faux oranges and lemons. I separate the lower ones in the middle of the table with tiki torches to keep germs out. I then added some real cut up citrus that we used a torch to give the fruit a charred look and it also helped keep the bugs away! It was the perfect way to focus on the board. We wanted it to be casual so there were no sit-down or sit-down meals. The food was delivered to everyone individually and it was all small tapas dishes with a LOT of flavor by chef Adam Munroe of Perfect Strangers Boston. I can’t recommend her food enough for a special occasion, birthday party or shower.  It worked great for our backyard party.
There’s nothing better than live music on a warm summer evening with a glass of wine. We wanted to bring some good vibes to this Bachelorette backyard so we hired a local trio called The “J” Thing to play for us for a few hours. They are the most amazing band I have seen play in different bars (before covid) and other events. I will always remember them and I am grateful that they had one last chance to play for us!  Music in general can make or break a party in my opinion and live music really sets the mood for an amazing night. I knew these guys played a variety of genres suitable for different ages and music. Everyone who was there that night was a fan!!
Most importantly, the guest of honor was surprised and in disbelief at the little shindig we threw for him! I mean you have to put up with our crazy family so it’s the least we can do 😉 Just kidding! Honestly, seeing the people I love and care about happy is the most rewarding feeling. I had so much fun planning this and organizing it all to celebrate and welcome him into our family.
So he was very surprised! I really didn’t expect any of this which makes it all the better! Friends, these are crazy times, but if you can find a way to have a little get together safely, with your family/friends closer than I hope you can if something you feel good about.  Celebrate those special moments with your loved ones because that’s what life is all about.  I no longer take anything for granted.
