Bedroom Easy Wall Drawing Ideas – Today’s post is a little self-indulgent. I started my research for easy DIY wall art because I decided to paint a wall in my house. But I’ll start from the beginning.
It all started with this picture of Natalie Lett that a friend of mine shared with me on Instagram. Apparently Natalie spent her lunch hour painting the walls of her room.

It also reminded me of my college days when I could draw anything I could lay my hands on, including my bedroom wall. Now, I’m no artist, but I can get basic shapes and proportions. I dug up these pictures of my bedroom from 25 years ago. Both of these murals are on the wall behind the bed, so they are about five feet long.
Wall Mural Designs: Artistic Ideas For Stunning Wall Décor
I didn’t know what wall to paint and what to paint on. But that’s why I started looking for easy DIY wall murals. (As I said, I’m not an artist. I can make easy things look good, while a difficult piece of art will expose me).
As I went through the different photos, an idea started forming in my head and eventually I had a rough plan of what I wanted to do. So let me introduce you to all the easy ideas and what I plan to do in the end.
The absolute easiest wall art I found was to use a black marker to draw basic geometric patterns on the wall. Below are the wall stickers. But my view is that it can be easily done with a pen.
Emily cut out a leaf here with the eraser and used it as a stamp, what a beautiful pattern!

If you’re a little braver, this pattern is also easy to make and looks pretty, I think.
Can you believe the downstairs dining room walls were hand painted? Kelly took the design from the poster and hand painted it on the wall with the help of a friend. He has provided a step-by-step tutorial that you can view by clicking here.
And then this. A fashion designer who uses her extra drawings to create wall murals for the bathroom. Isn’t that great?
As I was looking at all the patterns, I remembered how Pretty Prakash cut up a simple wall paper and used it to make this amazing wall. In fact, the idea was so beautiful and easy that it inspired many of its readers to follow suit and do the same.

If you’re not so sure you can make your own paper towel, you can even buy one. From simple geometry..
Another easy way to get amazing wall designs is to use tape. You can randomly place tape on the wall and paint on the tape. You can paint the entire wall in one color or use different colors in different colors.
Peel the tape off the wall and you’re left with a beautiful mural. Here, Kayla shows you how she built this wall step-by-step. I also love how she uses glitter in some shapes to make the whole wall sparkle.
If you have a lot of patience, time and courage, you can make your mural bold and bright like this one.

When I started looking at color, I realized that the easiest shape to draw was the rainbow. First, you don’t need to draw it very clearly. Lines can be crossed because that’s a natural thing. Imperfections make it more natural and beautiful.
A rainbow doesn’t have to be a children’s area. This mural will make a striking accent wall in any living room.

I started looking for tropical wall murals and found these simple, beautiful drawings done by many artists on their walls.

I liked the idea that since I paint nature, I don’t always have to be perfect. I could be wrong, and since we’re talking about leaves and flowers, I’ll be fine.
Plus, I loved that I could decide to just leave it as a line, or color it.
I’ve been complaining about the wallpaper in the dining room for a while. I even announced to all of you at the beginning of the year that I would be making changes here by the end of the year.
I think what I really dislike about this place is the lack of greenery. But since it is the furthest corner from our balcony without natural light, it is not easy to keep plants there for long.

So the plan is to leave the wallpaper as it is and paint some big tropical leaves on it. I might add some bright flowers to it, but I’m not quite sure about that.
These simple line drawings should be easy to make myself and I can’t wait to see how this wall turns out.
My search for more wall murals ended up with these leaves as I found just what I was looking for. (I said I was enjoying myself here). But here are some pretty good ideas for everyone. Let me know your favorites and if any of them inspired you to take action.
Don’t forget to sign up for updates because as soon as that wall is up, I promise you’ll be the first to see it here.

Planning to build a room? You’ve come to the right place. In this post, I’ll talk about my first experiences with painting a house and what you need to prepare before painting a house. We also did a butterfly theme for my niece’s room and a football theme for my nephew’s room. Let’s see how we did.
Preparing a home for painting is just as important as the actual painting of the home. It takes a lot of time, sometimes more than the painting process, but in the end, you’ll thank yourself. This is because you can avoid a lot of messes, repainting, and redecorating if you do the house completely. Let’s take a look at the steps of room preparation.
The Best Bedroom Wall Décor Ideas
1) Cover floors with bedding and plastic sheeting. If you cover the board with pre-pasted masking tape, you can get clean lines after painting and avoid messes. The floor can also be used when painting the foundation.
Since we plan to install a new heating system, we plan to remove all the old heating elements and wood foundation, so we did not cover the foundation for this project (the contractor can paint the new foundation and under the walls. He will finish that job). I used painter’s tape and plastic sheeting to make the inside of the cabinet.
2) Remove doors, cabinet shelves, cabinet doors, and switchboards if there are wall fixtures. If you want to put something back in the same order, take a picture of all the wires before removing it.
3) Cover all holes in the wall with glue. Allow it to set for the amount of time indicated on the package. Then use a soft sanding pad to smooth out the crust.

We got so excited and jumped into the picture, only to realize later that we missed this step. So learn from our mistakes. You might think that you can’t see the small holes, and it might feel like an extra step, but we noticed a lot of small holes while painting. So I made sure to fill all the holes in the siding I planned to paint with A3M High Strength Small Hole Repair Compound.
I then lightly sanded the rolled area using a soft sander. Trust me. You will feel better. This root compound dries in 20-30 minutes so we can quickly move on to the next step.
