25+ Easy Projects You Can Make With The Cricut Explore Air
Here at Ruffles and Rain Boots, this is a question we get asked several times a week, so it seems like a great place to start. After owning several machines, I won’t talk about how his Cricut maker is the best machine that will grow with you even as a beginner.
Cricut machines are the most versatile and cutting-edge machines I’ve found. You can cut paper, fabric, felt, cardboard, softwood, leather, etc. Honestly, there are so many things you can cut, you can really do anything. Etching, drilling, printing, cutting, etc. are also possible. It’s truly an all-in-one cutter.
That said, I still have my Cricut Explore Air 2 and it’s pretty useful. If your budget allows, I recommend it as it is a very good machine. The biggest things I miss are having to feel the binding before cutting it (which is not necessary with builders) and not being able to use a softwood cutter. Although it may seem like you don’t need to cut any wood, it’s very easy to cut stacks of wood to create projects.
I won’t go into too much detail about this, but I’d like to highlight a few reasons why it’s legal. Copyright owners are protected, and they have the right to enforce that protection. Trademark owners are protected and have the right to enforce that protection.

Don’t rely on advice from the internet, Facebook groups, or other sellers to “get the hell out” of you. Don’t assume that large companies won’t come to you for damages just because you’re small. From Disney to the NFL, they enforce protection.
But it’s not just adults…I enforce protection under the law. Yes, I sent a cease and desist letter and also a (large) bill, but I had to take things further.
I can’t give you an answer because I don’t know where you are. Each state or province (and sometimes local government) has its own guidelines and regulations. The absolute best advice I and others can give you is to start with your local small business association.
