In addition to their obnoxious marketing methods, they will do everything they can to trick you into buying products and services that you don’t need. If you already have domain names with them, you can easily transfer them to www.iwantmyname.com.

If you’re not sure what web hosting is as opposed to a domain name, let me explain briefly. A domain name is like your address. It lets people know where you live. However, this is not your home. Just because you have an address doesn’t mean you have a roof over your head. Your website is the home of your website. This is where your website lives. All HTML, CSS, PDF, JPG, etc. files should be on a computer where people can access them. This is where the website is hosted. For a very low price, it will store all your website files and make them available to people online. I’ll show you how to host your website in a moment, but for now, know that you need to get a website.
