The propeller kit has adhesive dots that you peel off and stick to the back of the propeller and then the propeller sticks to anything.
The main point was to draw a “flight path” from one corner of the mirror to the other corner of the mirror.
The glue dots are really strong and hold the butterflies in place with no problem and the mirror gold matches the gold of the butterflies and sparkles when stuck in sunlight as well as night light.

The Butterfly Room Reveal
I already said that I am not an artist. When I was a kid, we used to play Pictionary a lot and it always ended in tears because no one knew what I was trying to draw. So when I find a simple art technique that turns out beautiful, I use it over and over again! Soft paper transfers are one of my favorite easy art techniques, especially for young children.
The concept is very simple: you wet a surface, then place pieces of bleeding paper on it. Spray the paper towel with more water and the paper color will drip onto the surface creating a really beautiful color combination.
Today I’m sharing a butterfly pattern so kids can use a napkin to color the wings without having to draw anything themselves. It’s easy and fun and looks pretty enough!
If you want to frame the finished project, you’ll also need a second sheet of cardboard, some glue, and an 8×10 frame.
