Card Design Ideas

Card Design Ideas – These projects are two remakes of July’s Simple Suite Stampers Training bundle projects, so they offer a fun twist on this month’s bundle. I used the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set, the matching Magnolia Memories die, and some of the great designer series papers included in this great product bundle.

The original designs for these cards were created by Raquel Bath (left) and Tara Stay (right). Thanks Raquel and Tara!

I mixed it up based on what I had. Plus, it’s always fun to add my own little twist to a design! Here are my two iterations:

Homemade Card Ideas

She used one of the Magnolia Lane Memories and More cards as Raquel’s centerpiece. These Memories and More cards are great for quick cards!

I used Magnolia Lane designer series papers for my two versions below. I love this designer paper! Because it’s so cool, the design of the card needs to be very simple so that it doesn’t compete with the paper.

For this first version, I made an “airbow” out of plain white pastry thread and attached it with a glue dot.

I used silver metallic thread behind the sentiments and instead of pearls I used Rhinestone Gems to coordinate.

Aside from these differences and the different color scheme, I used the same materials as the other simple card making ideas I shared in today’s post.

These flowers turned out so rich and vibrant! Check out my upcoming video for all the details on this card.

50 Creative Business Card Design Ideas For Your Inspiration

In the video you’ll learn how to create two different card layouts – you can mix and match the stamps from this stamp set and use one of these card layouts to create different cards for different occasions!

Products used in this video are available for purchase during filming (list below). If something doesn’t appear in the list, it’s out of date or unavailable.

Did you catch the card making tips and ideas I shared for beginners? I hope some of them were helpful!

One of my favorite ways to create cards is to find a card layout that works well for what I want and use it over and over again! Every card you make doesn’t have to be completely unique and different. Usually use one layout to make a map quickly and easily. (This is probably one of my biggest tips for making beginner cards – each card doesn’t have to be completely different from any other card you’ve made!)

I Cut Up My Favorite Piece Of Paper!

You can see the two different layouts in the two different images above. The cards are all very simple, I just swapped out a few stamps and sentiments on each one.

All of these cards are made using VERY VANILLA CARDS and ENVELOPES. I use these a lot because they are economical and the perfect size for quick and easy cards. I recommend them to both beginner card makers and experienced card makers alike!
