It’s no secret that I’ve been using my Cricut machines for a long time! I got my first one in 2007 and have been hooked ever since! The possibilities are endless! Cricut machines have come a long way in the last 13 years, and I personally think the Cricut Maker is still the best, although all the current options are great! Today I want to share with you 20 projects you can make with the Cricut Maker! It is very versatile and you can create almost anything with it!

Create Your First Cricut Maker Project In 20 Minutes!

One of the best things about the Cricut Maker is that you can use all the different tools. The score wheel is great. I used it for this Christmas town and it worked great for scoring the Cricut Kraft Board. The scoring pencil does not perform as well as the scoring wheel.

If you have a Cricut Maker, the blade is a must! It is excellent for cutting wood and chipboard. You can see one of my favorite chipboard projects here. I used knife cut wood for this Christmas card.

One of my favorite things to cut with the Cricut Maker is Iron-on or Heat Transfer Vinyl. I love wearing it on shirts, hats, bags or pillows. It’s so much fun to use! If you want to learn more about how to create iron-on projects with your Maker, check out this post.

As I mentioned above, I love making pillows with iron-on vinyl! It’s the best! Seasonal decorations are so easy to make with Maker!

Easy Cricut Project Ideas

Using the Cricut Maker + Rotary Blade is great for cutting felt! I made these fun farm Halloween costumes with a carousel and a knife, and it was so much fun!

Have you ever wanted to put vinyl stickers on things in your home? The pantry, your Cricut Maker or even the back window of your car? The Cricut Maker makes cutting stickers a breeze, and it’s an easy way to dress things up. You can use permanent or removable vinyl for this.

Creating home decor with your Cricut Maker has endless possibilities, no matter what media you work with. This You & Me bedroom sign is made from iron-on wood and was so much fun to make + I love how it turned out.

You! Infusible Ink is A.MAZ.ING! I’ve used it sparingly, but every time I do I’m amazed. It’s magical to use! Whether you’re making a coaster, a bag, or a shirt, the Cricut Maker is the perfect machine for cutting material.

How To Make A T-shirt With A Cricut

The tools available to use with the Cricut Maker are great! I love that most of them can use the QuickSwap housing, and I also love that you can use a variety of materials with it. Making personalized gifts or other items is one of my favorite ways to use my Cricut Maker. When we went on vacation last summer, I wrote my kids’ names on pencil boxes and chalkboards so they would know which one was theirs. It worked perfectly. It’s great for ironing and using adhesive vinyls to label things!

Learn! You can cut leather using the Deep-Point Blade with the Cricut Maker! There are many things you can do with leather. I made this cute notebook with an inside pocket and a fun iron-on saying on the front.

If you haven’t tried cutting felt with the Maker rotary blade, you should. With felt you can make a beautiful felt garland for any season of the year. Here’s one for spring.

If you’ve never hosted a party with your Cricut Maker, have you ever hosted a party?! 🙂 Maybe it’s just me, but being able to create all the parts of the party with the Cricut is SO FUN!! With chipboard, cardboard, party paper and vinyl you can throw a great party in no time.

Printing and then cutting is one of my favorite things to do with my Cricut Maker! Not only can it be printed and then cut, but it can also be done on colored and white paper. Check out these fun Easter gift bags that you can print and then cut out of sticker paper.

I know I already mentioned Chipboard, but when you make projects with Cricut Chipboard in the Cricut Maker, the sheet gives you clean cuts and this chipboard is thick! Works great for creating fun banners!

Here’s another example of ways to use felt and your Cricut Maker to create fun Christmas decor! Make some cute mini Christmas wreaths for your kitchen cabinets or anywhere else in your home you want to display them.

Cute paper gift wrap is one of my favorite ways to use the Maker Machine. This little box is perfect for holding a gift card or some jewelry, it’s cute and easy to make!

Create your own t-shirt graphics with your Cricut Maker. Whether you use an iron-on pattern or a solid pattern, this is a fun project. This Hello Weekend shirt is a fun project using an iron-on pattern.

If you haven’t used your Cricut Maker to draw yet, give it a try! It’s a fun twist on cutting or printing and can create a completely different look. I love that the Cricut Maker holds both the blade and the pen at the same time. It’s easy to make cute gifts by drawing and cutting them out.

This is also a draw and cut project, but uses the curved text option. It’s a fun way to put a spin on horizontal text and Maker makes it really easy.
