The only downsides are the old baseboard lamps and chandeliers we bump into every time we pass the house.

This 10 x 10 room is right next to our front door. We are sure that the previous and only owners used this place as their dining area. We don’t need a dining area anymore, so it now serves as a sitting/sitting area.

The first job I did in this room was to clear the chandelier and the two baseboard lights. We didn’t want to heat, and they were very bad, so I took them out and repaired all the holes and damaged walls.

I also removed the old thermometer and filled the hole as well as all the other holes and studs.

The trim also has two coats of the same color I used in the rest of the house, Behr Polar Bear and BM Advance.

Finally, it was time to paint the wall. I use this room to test different glosses, i.e. soft white and matte finish. The walls in this house have a lot of imperfections, so I hope the matte finish will reduce them.
