I started with this little table, but it’s not quite right. It’s too short and I want it centered under the light, even on the wall. And honestly, I don’t know what to put below.
I was looking for a basket to stack on top of the table to give it some height, and I found this large wooden tray. Somehow, I ended up turning it around and making a table top.
To hide all the unsightly crap under the tray, I made a skirt using tension rods and curtain panels.
I wanted the table decoration to be warm and inviting, but suitable for the dining room. The use of natural rattan creates warmth, and teapots and porcelain are a must in the dining room.

Are vintage prints comfortable? For me they are! This is the living room side of the room. I filled every corner with lots of vintage floral prints, antique bread shelves filled with iron, and lined with old dress patterns.
