– Washi tape is used to seal ornaments and edges so they look nice and straight. I just love washi tape and see it more and more in regular stores. There’s also a great selection on Etsy.

– For the story itself, I use separate pages from the old book. You can also browse magazines to find the words you need. But the pages of this book render the atmosphere of the story beautifully. If you’re not ready yet, you can order a pack of 20 pages in different colors, styles, and languages from Drops Reviews.
– Optional: Press and slide all fold lines with a pencil to make them extra sharp and shiny.
– Optionally, cut a piece of sturdy paper from the packaging to create a beautiful envelope. If you can’t find anything else, you can print a nice photo on the Matte Photo Gallery. I’ve uploaded a free template for use here. This packaging is only suitable for (gift) packaging, which is narrow due to postal rules!
Now the most important part is picking out a nice piece of paper to fold into a leaf. Like I said, warehouses are perfect for this job. Remember, you want to fold this into eight pages (counting both sides), and each page should provide something interesting for your resume. In the image you draw as a rough guide, keep in mind what your page will look like.

Once you’ve downloaded the paper, it’s time to fold it. Remember, for steps 1 and 2, you need to use the sides so that it shows on the outside when folded.
1. Fold it into length first. Use the brush to press and slide across the crease to sharpen the crease.
3. Keeping the paper closed, fold the ends toward the center to create a harmonica shape.
5. Cut the first fold from step 1 until you reach the cross fold from step 3.

6. This should show you how far you should cut. Now cut both sides of the paper and open carefully…
7. It looks like this. You’ve basically finished your billing now, and the possibilities are endless.
8. Check the bill to see what is in the envelope. Storybook layouts can be portrait or landscape, so you can weigh your decision.
The first thing you’ll notice is that there are no additional margins. This is great! No matter how careful you are, the paper always has a certain thickness that just isn’t possible. I solved this problem by crimping the edges with washi tape.

9. You can pray as much as you want on the machine. Personally, I like to tape the screen and leave the page inside.
10. You can use the same tape colors for your project or mix them. It would be interesting if you mixed it up and used the X Drive Steel to carefully make a crosscut where the two machines meet so that the transition between the two tapes looks smoother.
11. You’re done! Once you’ve scanned the edges, you won’t be able to choose a new cover, so choose wisely first.
12. Now you can trace and cut out the envelope template according to the paper you want to use for the envelope. Thicker paper is more difficult to fold, so you’ll need to get into the fold very smoothly with your arm, or use a little more force with your pen. You can use glue or washi tape to close the envelope.

Now it’s time to decorate the interior. I really can’t do this to you; it’s up to you and your imagination! But if you need an example:
As you can see, I kept the text very minimal. I wrote a short story myself and then continued to find words on the page. Of course, you’ll find the word itself very difficult, and it’s better to search for parts of the word or even individual letters. If you are a regular visitor to the page you are using, don’t expect to receive many redemption letters! Because in my last history book I only used two pages. It’s best to keep it short or you’ll be relying on this word for a week!
