Dining Room Decorating Ideas On A Budget Pinterest – Lately I’ve been looking for dining room inspiration. Ever since we moved in, I’ve wanted to change the look of our dining room, but I’ve struggled with what would not only look nice, but also be practical. That means I’ve spent hours scouring Pinterest and designer websites looking for something to spark an idea from. The result is that I still haven’t found the right “thing” for our dining room tasting, but I sure have found some incredibly beautiful spaces to pin on my Pinterest boards. So today I thought I’d share what I think are the 15 best looking dining rooms on Pinterest. These cover the full range of styles, from traditional to farmhouse and transitional to modern. Maybe something can inspire you!

I’ve tracked down and linked to the original sources of these photos whenever possible, but sometimes Pinterest photos aren’t properly attributed to the original source.

This simple, traditional farmhouse style dining room really speaks to my personal aesthetic. I love the warmth of the cabinets against the painted walls. I also love the mix of chairs and the rustic painted table. To me, this dining room is charming and cozy in the best possible way.

Grey Living Room Ideas

I am in love with the accent wall in this dining room. The three-dimensional look adds great interest to the room and the color works perfectly to soften the space. I also love the square table. For me, this is a perfect transitional dining room.

The amazing Liz Marie, at Liz Marie’s blog really knows how to grow. Her beautiful dining room is constantly changing with accessories, lighting and decor and I love seeing the transformations she creates. This version of her dining room is my favorite. The crisp white chairs, the rustic wooden table and the chipped cabinet are so lovely and cosy! I’m ready to sit down and eat dinner!

I love mixing styles and decor in unexpected ways and this modern and vintage dining room is the perfect combination. The mix of classic chevron floors and ultra-traditional fireplace and mirror, along with modern velvet chairs in soft pastel colors, amazes me. Throw in some black and white photo prints and I’m sold!

Earthy Modern Dining Room Reveal Transformation

Have you heard of HYGGE? I didn’t have it until a year ago. I kept hearing this word used to describe a certain style or aesthetic. It wasn’t until recently that I did some research and found out that it’s a Danish word that means cozy, lovely, comfortable and easy. (I’m sure it contains more than that, but for design purposes, that’s the general idea) Anyway, this cozy dining room is the perfect representation of hygge to me. I love the simple lines and bench, the color of the table and the warm gray glass doors behind.

I love paneled walls! So when I saw this beautiful dining room with the dramatic paneled walls, I stopped to check out all the details. Isn’t this traditional dining room with a little modern twist beautiful?! The dark framed photos of the chairs are a little smaller than the traditional ones, so the overall look is transformed. I love this space and am using some of these elements for my own dining room makeover.

A little French country, a little traditional farmhouse all mixed to make a beautiful dining room. Add a chair rail and dark charcoal paint and this is a winner in my book. I’m thinking about this color in my dining room. Dramatic and charming, right!?

I don’t know if I had intended to mix this traditional dining table with the more modern fixtures and wall coverings. And can we talk about that white bench?! There is something so relaxing and cozy about this dining room and it makes me want to buy a beautiful long coconut bench!

He must have lived in the European countryside in another life. I am very drawn to the warmth and artistry of European design details and rich colors. This delicious dining room has all the feels I love and makes me want to sit down with a huge cheese board and a glass of Italian wine!

My husband and I have been talking about how nice it would be to have a dining room full of bookshelves and rows of books. Apparently this is common in urban apartments where the spaces are versatile and a dining room can double as a library. I love this idea and would love to incorporate it into our dining room.

Sometimes it’s not about a lot of complicated details, but rather about simplicity. This dining room, while simple in its design details, remains warm and welcoming. This reminds me that sometimes less really is more.

Can we talk about the beauty of an indoor-outdoor dining room with lots of natural light and natural tile floors? I love the provincial atmosphere of this dining room. It would be just as beautiful in winter as in summer and is dramatic and relaxed at the same time.

I’ve shared my friend Courtney’s French Country Cottage a couple of times before. Her house is so beautiful and cozy and her dining room is one of my favorite spaces. The giant chalkboard adds such a charming element to its French country style and the twin chandeliers are the beautiful finishing touch.

This image captured my imagination the first time I saw it. We eat out a lot at our home in Southern California as well as at our ranch in Montana and the vine covered patio with the twinkling lights on this patio is the epitome of romantic outdoor dining I love the simplicity of the outdoor benches and linen table surrounded by greenery. 60+ Modern Dining Room Wall Decor Ideas & Designs For 2024

In order to have a centerpiece that would last, I decided to skip the flowers and do something a little different.

I started with a simple, neutral table runner.  You can even use a long piece of fabric, cut to the desired length.

I added my favorite faux eucalyptus garland and tucked in some faux cedar and Norfolk pine pieces for some extra layering.  After Valentine’s Day I will start putting down the winter decor so I wanted to enjoy it one last time and Valentine’s Day is the perfect holiday for cozy winter decor!

I decided to keep the table decor very relaxed and neutral, with a rustic and vintage look.  Next, I grabbed my vintage French zinc jug (a staple here!) and snapped a couple of small branches from the trees in our driveway (yes, for free decoration!)
