Diwali Decoration Ideas At Home With Paper
We love to decorate our home with handmade items. Last year, we made a paper leaf garland and this year we made a beautiful Diwali kalash garland. Kalash is a metal pot with a large base and a small mouth that is often used in Hindu rituals.

2. Cut a leaf shape from green card and stick three leaves in each pot as shown in the picture.
4. Cut four small pieces of tissue paper (the color of your choice) and glue them to the neck of the pot.
5. We made a folding paper rope to hang our garland. You can also use string or twine to tie the pots together.

Paper Cup Craft Idea For Diwali Decoration…
Most of the projects on the internet are flowers or wall decorations. I’m trying to do something different.
I’m posting a few step-by-step pictures and information because you can find a great video tutorial by the HGTV artists here.
And the bottom of the flowers is a solid milk box with a nice open handle, which I think is great because you can use the gap to hang, especially if you want to use it as a wreath.
So, I started making four circles (four 4) in different diameters. This is because I am not sure of the results. They did the first flower, then the smaller size, making sure that it showed some colors on the bottom and continued to the others.

For tutorial purposes, I measured them and here is the diameter for the width of the flower, the diameter of the cardboard circle for the base and the size of the paper cut for the petals.
So for each color you will get 20 pieces which is enough to cover the diameter mentioned above. Now turn them into cones/petals. And the closest is 3Γ3 inches from the left on the orange shade stock.
When the 5 rows of petals are glued, they are closed in a circle with a wonderful card with the rest on top of the DIY cut pieces π __________________________________________________________
2nd dahlia –Β I was very happy, but when the first one arrived, I was confused about the colors π I tried it on the shade of green and it worked perfectly π

Petals – The base you need is 5 sheets of each light shade 2 of green (4X4 inches) and of dark green 3 sheets of 3 Γ 3 inches each.
So, in total you will use about 18-20 cones for the two lower rows and 12 upper rows.
I kept the flower simple because of the amount of filling you added, and the difficulty of adding a fourth flower. Or you can make a full Dahlia this time and skip the fourth flower.Β
Petals –Β I took 4 sheets of two colors, cut a 4Γ4 of dark pink and a 3Γ3 of light pink.Β ________________________________________________________________________________

A small flower is filled in three petals and glued on the candle holder to insert the LED candle.
Now add a small circular cylinder and place the last Dahlia and LED Candle. Since it is paper, using real candles can be a fire hazard.
5.Β The last and most commonly used method is the Wreath. Wreath is not our tradition but Diya cut is satisfying π
