Last month, my girlfriend and I had a craft night and made this dream catcher. This easy craft only requires thread and an embroidery hook.

(Available here) These cornices are secured with 3M tape. The tape that came with the cornice didn’t hold up and I had to add extra 3M strips to stick it on.
Our biggest challenge in this room was the Shiplap style wallpaper (available here). If you have a regular ceiling wall, I think this wallpaper will be very easy to install. However, the sloping ceiling in this room made this installation a bit of a project. This wallpaper project took several stops and starts until it was completed. If you look closely, it’s not perfect. However, in this case, it’s better to be done than perfect. It’s easy to remove, so if you get tired of it, just throw it away. Will not damage the paint!
We spent a lot of time looking for suitable bedding. I was looking for a comforter rather than a duvet because duvets are very difficult to keep clean. And if you want your kids to make their beds, you need to make it easy for them.

We settled on this Pottery Barn Teen bedspread set. It looks like a comforter, but it is actually a comforter. The material is very fluffy and not too heavy.
The sheets are from California Design Den, one of our favorite bedding companies. I’ve talked about these sheets before because I also have them in the master bedroom. I like these sheets because they are very reasonably priced. I’ve been wearing them for a few months now and they’re just as soft and comfortable as when I first wore them.
In my opinion, when buying sheets, it is very difficult to decide on the thread count and fabric type. So I’m glad I was able to find this seat at a reasonable price. There’s no reason to spend any more money.
There are still a few things that need to be finished, like replacing the old carpet and painting all the trim. But overall, both my girlfriend and I are very happy with how our bedroom turned out. It truly reflects your style and personality!
