Easy Perler Bead Ideas Circle – I’m back with a DIY after a long hiatus. I was on vacation in India to celebrate my son’s first birthday. Now that all the fun and festivities are over, I’m back to blogging. Although things aren’t back to normal yet (due to jetlag), I’m trying my best to get back on track. Now a trifle.
Playing with perler beads has always been one of my favorites. When I came across a pretty cool beaded mandala design on Pinterest, I was excited to find out how. Unfortunately, there were no lessons for them. So I started searching on how to make them and all I found was a tutorial on how to make a bowl of pearl beads using a mixture of pearl beads in a glass bowl and fusing them together in the oven. Then I thought I’d try my technique. Want to know how? let’s start

Step 2: Arrange the beads in the desired pattern using tweezers. I made a hexagon pattern bowl. So I arranged the beads as shown below. I filled in the slits on the sides first, then the corner beads for each row.

Step 3: Repeat the above step until the bowl shape is formed. I filled the last row of beads with clear so that they would not bleed when melted in the oven.
Step 4: Preheat the oven to 350 F and place the bowl in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Once completely cooled, remove your beautiful creation from the glass bowl. (The cup slides off easily when you try to remove it).
Here is another one with the same method. In this I built a pixel rose and then covered it with white beads. One thing I noticed is that I left this bowl in the oven longer than the last one, so the final bowl had almost no holes compared to the hexagon shaped bowl.
Step 1: Use a round board and arrange the beads as you would normally perler beads in the pattern of your choice. You are going to use this as the base of the bowl.

Step 2: Use the ironing paper and iron on top to fuse the beads. Do this on one side only. While the molten design is still warm, carefully remove it from the board and place it on an oiled bowl with the fused side facing the glass bowl. Firmly press the bottom of the bowl so that it takes the shape of the bowl.
Step 3: Arrange the remaining beads around the combined pattern to form a bowl shape. Then place in the oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Let it cool and your bowl is ready.
What do you think of these pearl cups? Although it seems tedious, it is worth the effort. I thought the bowl would be thick but it turned out sturdy and looks nice too. I love how you can customize the cup design. It was a very relaxing project for me and I am satisfied with the result. Have you tried this project? Beginner perler kits often come with different shapes of boards. These shapes include square, circle, heart, hexagon, star, flower, and even animal-shaped boards. I had so much fun writing about the hexagon and square designs that I thought I’d come up with circular patterns. Let’s take a look at them!
Unlike square boards, where the pegs are lined up straight, a ring board has pegs radiating from the center. You can clearly see this from this green table. And because the pens move in a circle, this charming little chick has a completely different mood. Rather, they are little cousins to shrimp and lobster. When they are scared or threatened, they curl themselves up into little tight balls, hence their name roly poly.
Here is another fascinating creature – the sea horse. Seahorses always thrill me to watch how they float so seemingly insignificantly through the water. A seahorse pattern looks great on a ring headpiece as it shows off the curvy shape of this sea animal.
