According to the line’s 2019 launch collaboration with Lilipinso: After getting her bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, Kate worked as a graphic designer in South Korea and then in the United States. She takes a lot of inspiration from nature, but she prefers to draw plants from her imagination. Despite learning various art techniques, she does not care about perspective or technical errors. For her, it is only important to create an impression that inspires emotions. ~ Fragment of this image.

Now that we know a little more about Kate, let’s take a look at the different flowers she’s shared with us all on Instagram.

I know I’ve already said this in my other drawing post, but if you’re just starting out, use what you have on hand or buy a cheap pencil, eraser and sharpener pack.

I love how thick this mechanical pencil is (0.5mm), I always keep it in my travel pencil case (in case my boys don’t steal it). The grip is super comfortable and changing the leader to a softer one will give you so much control and nuance.

I love it when I want to sketch something really quickly and the 0.7mm size is my favorite! And while they have HB leads, like any other mechanical pencil, you can add a different softness to the leads. I like to add strikers and have them in different colors to separate the wires.

This is my absolute favorite eraser. I first bought it when I was still in college in Chile, it was an older version but the same concept. I like that the shape of the eraser gives you three sharp points that you can use more precisely, it’s much better than the round ones in my opinion. Plus, it’s a great option if you don’t have an eraser shield.

There are some things that once you find a brand you love, you stick with it and never look back. For me, they are Staedtler erasers. I have been using them since my early college years and absolutely love them!

If you want to experiment with different pencils, this pack includes 6 different graphite pencils, 3 charcoal pencils, 1 sketch stick, 4 charcoal sticks, 1 pencil tip, 1 charcoal tip, 1 kneaded eraser and 1 white plastic eraser.

Below are some of my favorite watercolor options, just like anything else, of course. If you’re just starting out, use what you have on hand. The idea is to practice first, then you can update your materials to take your work to the next level!

These are my favorite watercolors, they are easy to use and super bright. While they aren’t the cheapest you can find, they are fantastic mid-range.

I love this set, I use them for watercolor letters and they are amazing. It has great pigmentation and you can even smudge it on top without making a total mess like all the other watercolors. And you can never have too much Dr. Ph.D. Martin’s ink!

How To Draw Anything

I love these little brushes, the grip is so soft and they have lasted me SO long! They are well constructed and get the job done, pretty much everything you need in a brush set.

. But the most popular is the oriental poppy (or Papaver orientale). Characterized by feathery foliage and orange, red or salmon flowers.

One of the most popular varieties of hydrangea are ‘Nikko Blue’ and ‘Rhapsody Blue’. from the usual shades of blue to light purple.
