My method begins with a sheet of paper. This is usually a 6″ x 6″ sheet or a 6″ x 8″ sheet.

First I tear off all the papers that are on the table. This is because each design usually comes in two designs with an alternate design on the back. So I combined the two designs together. Paper each side together
It works well with some pads like the ones from Echo Park. One side of the paper is messy and the other side is reinforced with a more intricate design.
I am a firm believer in not reinventing the wheel! The pad designers worked hard to make sure all the patterns matched. So let’s work hard to create cards using their instructions.
When using pads like this I will use a subtle design on the bottom layer and a busy design on the top.

I cut my base layer from plain colored cardstock to match the colors in the cardboard pack – it always has to be the size of the card base.
Then I collected all the ephemera pieces, organized them into groups – all the feelings combined. All pictures together, etc.
The first card is always the hardest. But when you enter the flow That card will begin rolling.
I painted the card on the base layer. Leave the final gluing all the way onto the card base.

With a clean table So I added the card front to my card base . When I need a birthday card urgently I will use pre-cut cards and keep score.
And for horizontally folded cards I used card blanks and envelopes from Tonic Studio . The quality of these card envelopes is amazing. I wait until the price goes down before adding my stuff.
When everything is assembled together I then placed them on the table and added some shine with the Nuvo Aqua Shimmer and Nuvo Crystal Glaze pens. I prefer crystal glaze over glitter – that’s what works for me!
I try to use the feel provided in the Ephemera Pack, but it doesn’t always match your design or what you want to say.
