For those of you who don’t know what Canva is, here’s a quick introduction for you before we dive in.

Canva is a user-friendly drag-and-drop online design tool that allows anyone to create stunning designs without needing any design knowledge or experience.
Canva is a freemium tool, so you can use most of it for free and download an unlimited amount of free templates.
However, there are some features that are only available if you pay for the Canva Pro subscription (or try the 30-day free trial).
When creating a logo on Canva, the easiest option is to start with a template.

Canva currently has around 1400 logo templates.
You have a few options when searching for a template on the Canva homepage, and you can search for “logo” in the search bar (or make your search more specific, like “beauty logo”):
It will show you a number of related logo templates that you can easily scroll through to find the one you want:
Doing so will take you directly to the Canva editor, where you can browse or search for a specific area and select a logo template from the Templates page on the left.
How To Make A Logo With Canva: A Step-by-step Guide
One thing to note is that if you only have a free Canva account, the above methods for finding and selecting logo templates mean that you can only download logos 500px x 500px.
With Canva Pro, you can easily resize your design, but if you plan to use Canva Free and want a larger logo design, here’s what you need to do.
From the Canva home page, click the Create Design button in the top right corner, click Custom Size, and enter your logo size (for example 2000px x 2000px):
After clicking the “Create New Design” button, you will be taken to the editor where you can find the logo design you want. Your logo design is available for download in the size of your choice (for free):

You know it contains Canva Pro content if you hover your mouse over the logo design and you don’t see a “FREE” sign.

You can also add designs to your Favorites folder, so you can browse logo design options, save your favorites, and then return to your Favorites folder to decide which one to use.
To add a template to your Favorites folder, simply hover over the thumbnail template, click the three dots, and select Add to Favorites.
To access the “Likes” folder, go to the “Folders” tab from the left menu and go to the “Likes” folder.
Centering and placing designs is very easy. Simply select the element(s) you want to change and click and drag to move them on the canvas.
