Journal Design Ideas Aesthetic Drawing – Hello friends! Viv here from Monday Morning Design. I can’t even begin to describe how happy and excited I am that this is my first blog post as an Archer and Olive design member! I’m anxious and trying to let things go! I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing brand! Since you’ll probably see me here again, why don’t I take a moment to introduce myself?

Southern Californian true crime (#talkmurdertome), professional dreamer and overthinker and obsessive hobbyist. Of course, if I see something I like, I’ll probably try it myself! While many pastimes have come and gone, one pastime that has stood the test of time is the bullet puzzle. I saw Puzzle magazine for the first time in 2019 and instantly fell in love. What started as a simple organization/editing system and creative tool quickly turned into a daily brainstorming, journaling, and memory management practice!

How To Add Aesthetic Details To Your Journal

Memory management has really opened my eyes and made me grateful for the little pleasures and magic in my everyday life. It’s so nice to go back to my journal and read all the memories, big and small, that I’ve captured. I hope that if you haven’t tried it one day, you will!

While I don’t have specific photos of each step, you can check out my timelapse to see how it all comes together!

Start by drawing a design with a pencil. I thought it would be great to have little polaroids as snapshots of my favorite memories. I put 12 polaroids, but in this spread I used one on my head. You can reserve a room for big or small.

Next, go over the pencil drawing with your Acrylographs and/or fine liner. I used both! I chose to depict some polaroids in Metallic Acrylographs because I end up liking those colors and the “wow” factor – that’s it! I think if I had done all the metal polaroids it would have been removed from the end. Of course, you can print entire boxes with Acrylographs, or mix and match colors from different groups, or just apply fine liners. It’s up to you and what you want to do!

But seriously, these Metallic Acrylographs are dreamy and I think they fit this winter theme perfectly! This set would be great to have in your library!

After you’ve outlined your Polaroids, let them dry for a few minutes before erasing your pencil marks. This step makes a huge difference and you can finally see your ad cleaned up and looking great!

You can add other embellishments like washi tape, stickers or decorative paper for a scrapbook look. I haven’t done that yet for my post here, but eventually I might add washi tape to some polaroids to make them look like they’re on the wall! The possibilities are endless. Be creative!

The best part of this campaign is capturing your favorite memories in time. You can fill in each box by writing, typing or adding a picture. Add dates for your memories under each Polaroid so you can remember when each memory happened.

55 Inspiring Bullet Journal Ideas To Try Right Now

I am very interested in science fiction. Ever since I was a child, I loved learning about space, the planets and the myths that inspired it, and the world and history.

I have experimented with star swatches in my magazine in the past and found a way to put them all over the pages and publish my magazine for review last month.

I always come back to these basic patterns each week with plenty of time for my to-do list and weekly goals. Since I work from home and across different time zones, my weekend is just as much a part of my work week as the rest, so I like Saturday and Sunday to feel like an empty box.
