Your seat should be U-shaped to make the large area in front of the fireplace warm and welcoming. I suggest looking for large, comfortable pieces that make people want to curl up by the fire and watch a movie.

All the attention in your living room will be around the fireplace, so the rest of your room should be simple. You may consider tall bookcases to stand next to the TV and fireplace. However, any finishing touches you add to the bookcases or art you add to the wall should be simple. Clutter in this area can quickly make your room feel overwhelming.

When you have a corner fireplace, you have tons of decorating options at your fingertips. This design gives you the opportunity for two focal points if you choose to put a TV in your living room. If you are able to coordinate the household appliances of the fireplace, then you will kill well.

For furniture, find something. The all-in-one seating solution is a comfortable way to ensure that everyone can enjoy this comfortable room. It also has the added benefit of providing even focus to both the fireplace in the corner and the nearby TV.

Do you have a living room that is not meant for practical use? Depending on the age of your home, you may have a room with a fireplace near the “sitting” room. It can be small with little wall space, lots of windows, and a large fireplace. This amazing design is not easy to decorate.

Simple & Cozy Fall Fireplace Decor Ideas

I love having a fireplace in our family room! It adds a cozy element to the space and is definitely the focal point of the room. The fire in the fireplace was too high, so we couldn’t put our television in the oven. I like that because it gives me more freedom to customize the fireplace mantel. I don’t have to work on the TV and I can add something bigger in the middle, like a mirror or a piece of art.

Sometimes I make fireplace decorations, but this time I wanted to keep it simple. Although it may seem overwhelming, you don’t need much to decorate your fireplace. Start with a few big statement pieces, like a

I also try to invest in a few quality items that I can use throughout the year. For example, a large black mirror in the center of the fireplace mantel – this mirror is a simple and common feature that can be placed in any period decoration. By changing the items I put around the mirror, the mantel looks completely different! Even the mirror is in the same place as I had it in the spring and summer.

Just like my first axes – they are neutral enough to work in any season, and changing the fruits and greens I have in them can look completely different!

Go and bring it all to the room where I am working. I love seeing all the options I have when working on decorating a shelf or area.

Start with the largest items first, such as a large mirror or framed picture. Maybe a big pot with tall trees (I wish we had something like that for a high ceiling!).

After that I will add a bracelet, if I want to use it. In spring and summer I keep the mantel clean and simple without decoration. For fall and the holidays I think they add warmth and comfort!

Later I added small things, like small vases, candle holders, and pumpkins! Be sure to adjust the trim around each item so that it sits properly. I love when the jewelry surrounds the little things.
