Hello, Future Graphic Designer :: Behance
When it comes to graphic design, I’m sure we’ve all used pre-made templates here and there. It can simplify your process, help you create prototypes faster, and generally make life easier. Why not start making some templates yourself? In addition, if you can make them of high enough quality, there is an option to sell them online in places like Creative Market, which gives you additional income.
I’m sure, like me, you have old magazines lying around. Why not step away from the screen for a while and create unique body art? Adam Hale (the.daily.splice) has a lot of inspiration here.
See something you want to try on this list? If you find something that sparks your inspiration, I’d love to see what you create! You can reach me at @samueljstroud on Instagram. You may even be featured in a series of best projects! 😉

While designing the cover of AA design magazine, Paris-based designer Josephine Ohl found unexpected inspiration in old movies.
The theme was New York, Tokyo and Paris, so Ohl decided to represent each city with a creature: King Kong for New York, Godzilla for Tokyo, and a rooster (symbol of French culture) for Paris.
He created the images separately and pushed them onto the cover for a unique, handmade look. The cover in this fun way is an unexpected move that makes the magazine stand out.
Pop culture references like this make the images instantly recognizable, and add a playful element to the design concept.
