Simple Border Line Design Ideas – Dear friends! Adrienne from Studio 80 Designer is here today to share a fun project! I love creating simple and beautiful borders in my archer and olive dot grid notebooks – the grid even makes drawing symmetrical borders SUPER easy! Each border starts with a rectangular base that is drawn with a Grave MONO 05 pen and a ruler. Then I’ll show you how to decorate and add three different and beautiful borders! Let’s start!

For the first border, I will use the MONO Drawing Pen 03 to draw a curved line on the rectangular border. This will be the grape. Then draw the leaves around the vine to fill in the border!

Simple Border Line Design Ideas

The next border will be more geometric! Starting with a rectangular border, draw another border on top using the ruler and MONO pen 05. Extend the outer lines to form a square around the perimeter, except for the corners, and they will turn in the middle. Then draw some embellishments in each corner and add dots around the outer border!

Page Border Ideas

I want to add flowers to the last border! Draw flowers and leaves from the rectangular border with MONO Drawing Pen 03 and draw along the border. Have a variety of flowers and leaves. Then come back with the MONO 01 pen and add small details to the flowers and leaves.

Since I often share my doodle border/divider ideas on Instagram, I often get asked how do you come up with so many?

Since I’ve already posted a lot of border ideas on IG for my friends to recreate, I thought in this blog post I’d show you how to easily create a variety of your own doodle borders.

I’ll show them how to set up my bullet journal and share some simple ideas to spark creativity. So let’s get started!

Diy Three Beautiful Borders With A Rectangle Base

In this section, I will share with you some simple techniques that you can use to design different borders. It’s all very plain and simple.

The simplest form of borders and dividers is just one row. A variety of lines can be used as borders and dividers, from straight, broken and dotted to wavy, circular and zigzag.

These lines are perfect for minimalist bujo lubrication as well as last minute touch ups. You can also use them in your study notes.

Patterns are small decorative images that repeat in designs and patterns. They can be as simple or fancy as you like.

I have illustrated the above points with heart and star patterns as shown here.

To make these dividers, I chose the little floral hats from Scattered Patterns, which I think are perfect for themes like spring and flowers.

Feel free to create a similar logo page in your journal for future reference. You can refer back to the pages later if you need ideas and inspiration to set up a new broadcast.

This method is similar to the previous method, only simpler. If you want a minimal but slightly flatter border, this is the way to go.

Such dividers can be drawn quickly and easily. All you have to do is draw one of the different lines shown earlier, then add some patterns on the edges or elsewhere.

I love using dividers like these to add a little fun to my smallest and last minute spreads.

The dotted grids on the listing journals help you draw lines, shapes, and patterns.

These are just a few examples, but you can literally create hundreds of different border patterns by connecting the dots of the log. How cool is that?! Connect dots to create geometric elements such as lines, angles, rectangles, triangles, and then repeat them regularly or irregularly in sequence.

Patterned geometric borders look great and take seconds to create. Their fragrance is also satisfactory. Use them to add some flair to your minimalist layout.

Of course, these methods aren’t the only way to draw borders in your journal, but they’re the easiest to get started with, especially if you’re new to doodling.

I love using doodle borders for decoration as well as organizing layouts because I like my bullet journal to spread out and have some cute designs. I’m going to show you some place settings I made with doodle borders.

The most common use of emblem borders in listing journaling is probably to decorate the edges of a tablecloth or to use them as dividers to organize the contents of a layout.

I laid them out first by drawing a thick border around the edges using the square themed patterns, then separated the days of the week with a dot divider.

You can try a similar layout in your journal by drawing borders with patterns that match your theme.

For this super easy weekly spread, I drew 3 dividers on each side and divided it into 8 equal parts. He labeled the sections and added a little yellow color to the yellow color. I made this broadcast in less than 5 minutes.

Use logo borders to create rows and columns in your bullet journal layout. This is a simplified example, but you can use the border anytime. I love how they beautifully display the table setting without taking up too much space.

It’s fun to experiment with doodle borders, matching dividers, frames and wreaths. If you want to follow a monthly theme in your bullet journal, you might find this idea helpful.
