Today I share a great collection of air dry clay projects. Air dry clay is pleasant and easy to use. It is cheap to buy and suitable for both adults and children.
I created a simple dry clay project many years ago (these closed air vents are still my favorite) so you can imagine how much I love it. One of its best features is that it does not require cooking, fire or oven (no high temperatures involved). All you have to do is leave your finished project to the air treatment facility and 48 hours later you will have a beautiful piece that you can decorate with acrylic paint and varnish.

Air-dried clay is a good alternative to traditional clay. It is lightweight, easy to use and can be folded, stamped, folded and shaped as you wish.

As much as I like air dry clay, it has some drawbacks. The main problem is that it is not waterproof or food safe, so anything made of air-dried clay should be used for decorative purposes only. If you are interested, I wrote a post about how to glaze or varnish air hardening clay.
Another problem is that not all types of clay work as well as others. Depending on the type of clay, some users may be brittle and breakable. Below I have compiled a list of my tried and tested air dry clay.
There are many types of clay. Almost all of the following projects use Crayola Air Dry Clay or my own DAS Air Hardening Modeling Clay.
How To Make Polymer Clay Earrings
I personally prefer white clay, but many of these projects use clay for a more natural clay color.
There are some options that I have not used personally but are popular and well reviewed.
You can use stamps or objects found around the house to add textures, patterns or even words to your wet clay. Grab a cookie cutter from the kitchen cabinets and create a cool geometric shape or go with a handmade organic shape and just shape it with your hands.
