Okay, okay, I know you only saw this kitchen last week, but since it’s the inspiration for this post, I thought I’d check it out first. It also opens up the upper part of your kitchen, making it bigger and lighter. And finally, it’s an easy way to beautify your kitchen and give it some personal style. You can easily add color with plates or glasses, some beautiful vases and bowls, the sky is the limit. It’s a fun playground 🙂

And here is my former little oasis. Despite the lack of usable enclosed storage (cabinet in front of stove – less than easy access) and ugly floors, I miss everything else. This kitchen DIY was a true labor of love and probably made my dad think he would disown me because of his “specific and detailed” requests.
